SBI Debit Card Reward Point - Changes w.e.f. 1st May, 2024

There have been several changes in SBI debit card reward point, full details can be found here : https://rewardz.sbi/content/overview -> Debit Card
Some of the changes observed are :
- virtual debit card excluded from accumulating reward points except for e-Commerce transactions
- 1,000 reward points capping per transaction (earlier it was 100 reward points)
- 10,000 reward points capping per calendar month (earlier it was 1,000 reward points)
- 200 birthday bonus reward points capping removed (not sure but it can't be seen anymore)
- all transactions will accumulate reward points except for account to wallet and account to account transactions
Changes are positive except for 2 major blows :
I was about to close physical debit card as I find no use paying AMC for card which I won't even use SBI introduced virtual debit card which also accumulated reward points but now that it's excluded from accumulating reward points, will have to rethink.
Excluding account to wallet and account to account transactions may mean no more accumulating reward points on CC bill payment via MobiKwik. I've done a transaction today and will update if I receive reward points for it or not. If no reward point is credited, then it will be a game over for many.

Ac to ac means, self balance transfer from one sbi ac to another sbi ac if u have any
And about, mobikwik cc or any bill payment, it has been stopped fetching rewards points from this month simply because when u pay via mobikwik, money gets added to mobikwik wallet first then any payment occurs and wallet load is not fetching any rewards from this month

Yeah, i noticed it too. Iss month mila he nhi reward points. I think they fixed this loopholes. Warna previous month kotak 811 mey add karney par mila tha. 4 May ko add kiya tha Amazon and kotak mey Lakin aaj 13 ho gya but koi reward points nhi mila😭😭

it's solely based on what's written on the website, if virtual debit card is still fetching reward points, it's a matter of rejoice 😇
Where on Rewardz website mentioned that virtual DC excluded? I don't see any such clause.
Where can we use the debit card and take out money … other than Kotak bank trick ??

Got 60 RPs i.e 2 rps/200 [₹6000]

Paid the same amount again today but with virtual DC this time

Anyone having experience with earning extra reward points in birthday month?
I got 32 reward points for transaction done on 13-May-2024 which is in line with 2 RP per Rs. 200 although I should've got 64 reward points since it's my birthday month and reward rate is 2X throughout the birthday month. Confused 😫

Paid another CC bill today of Rs. 748.40 via physical DC, expecting 6 RP to be credited within next 2-3 days

I'm guessing this transaction will give desired reward points since the merchant name is same as of transaction done on 13-May-2024 for which I've already received RPs.
For CC bill paid via virtual DC on 15-May-2024, I'm still waiting for RP to be credited.
Bajaj fin wallet load gives points.. used virtual dc gave 2 point for 200..i thought its 4 for 200
UPDATE (20-May-2024) :
6 reward points credited for transaction done via physical DC on 18-May-2024 and still can't see RP being credited for transaction done via virtual DC on 15-May-2024.
I really can't conclude if it's because of different MCC or different card type because physical DC has given RP both times but virtual DC hasn't given even once. I'll keep updating this thread in case of any new finding as I'll be paying bills a few more times this month.

but I'm confused that many didn't receive the reward points for CC bill payment via MobiKwik, even I've received reward points for 2/3 transaction carried out on MobiKwik for CC bill payment and for the transaction I didn't get any RP was done via virtual DC

Did 8 transactions worth Rs. 3,227 against CC bill payment on MobiKwik via physical DC ... for 7 transactions, received the following merchant name and even got 32 RP as expected :

By now, I've observed that even on MobiKwik, irrespective of type of card (physical/virtual), MCC varies from transaction to transaction and the merchant name at OTP page which is fetching reward point is : One MobiKwik Systems Ltd

Which vairent of sbi virtual debit card is good? Pls suggest. I already have rupay global phyical DC which I dont use at all.

but what is account to account transactions? i mean CC bill pay is account to account?
