touchscreen at 3500..in branded,u will stuck with resistive touch..u wud get decent in 4-4500….dont rely on others..work fr urself..after all its ur need..i wud say,try flipkart,letsbuy to find available models upto 4500-5000..then search dd with latest coupons available for those models n webiste..try sulekha,buytheprice,indiaplaza as currently they have good prices..

bought micromax bling for my mom from snapdeal a few weeks back.. isnt very robust.. good only if u handle it with care.. even has a mirror.. perfect for ladies.

GO FOR NOKIA C2-03 OR C2-02, touch ‘n’ type with good functions

1st thing you should look for is touch pad should have bigger keys. most of the phones these days are difficult to operate by parents due to many advance feautres and minature make.

Nokia X2-02 buy for 3105 at sulekha all basic features a phone should have and comes in many coloues

Samsung C3530 is decent phone coming around 3500 at hs18. it has good camera, 3.2 mp and all basic features. and superb display screen.

IBall Arpan is special phone for young at hearts. again all basic features and 2.0 mp camera.

Samsung Monte Bar is also 3500 at letsbuy, decent looks, good screen resolution. you need good display so that your mom can read easily outside in day’s brightness.

these are basic yet good mobiles for longer term time frame as our parents mobile stays for years. don’t buy touch/touchtype as it’ll be very hard for her to use since at 3.5k you’ll get resistive screen which is not suited for her use.

best choice would be x2-02 or c3530.

The touch is resistive and worst responsive.Your mom may find it very difficult to operate. My friend gifted this to his wife, and he is suffering like anything
x2-02 is a low end and somewhat a good phone
