Need help in buying a smartphone (7k-10k)

I want to buy a smartphone.
I have carried on quite a search, still not able to decide which 1 to buy. Earlier was going for Dell Venue pro but was costing me much. Then though of Motorola Defy Plus, that too was 2-3k above my budget so didnt even bought that 1 and every1 advised me not to buy motorola.
Budget : 7k-10k
Features I need, though can be compromised :
1> Looks
2> 3G : with front cam, wi-fi
3> OS : Android or windows preferred. But any would work if all other features are available.
4> Good Processor speed.
5> Brand : Nokia, Samsung,HTC preferred. No to Motorola.
6> Camera : Good Cam (atleast 3.2mp)
Please do not suggest Samsung galaxy Y. Neither it excites me…nor do looks really good. moreover,Every second guy is having it. So, a No to it.

go with htc explorer..you will not be disappointed..my friend is using it and i can say it is really good looking and sleek with great screen.

Its better to purchase ace duos which cost 11660/- Because in ace internal memory is 180mb and in ace duos 3 gb there is no use of android phone without inbuilt memory…..

Mi 425 is better than Mi 350 in each spec
Have 1 Ghz processor, Bigger 4" screen, better camera, upgradable to ICS, much better looking

but its costing atleast 2k more than mi 350…..
can get mi 350 for 7k on ebay…. mi 425 will cost me 9.5k
not sure why you’re against defy +…..if you check youtube for the robustness,there’s probably no phone like it. There are videos where people have started playing a video and immersed the phone under water and the phone has worked fine. Its also drop proof to a certain extent. Not sure if ics is available for it, but if it is, it should be a good buy.
Otherwise the galaxy ace should be good. I don’t have a hands on on it but I have the S2 and assume that its a smaller version of it. So shouldn’t be too much of an issue.

I completely agree with you about the robustness of defy.
I too have S2 and also have used Ace. Ace is good enough but he needs a secondary cam which defy+ or ace doesn’t have..
