Hey frnds I am planning to buy LCD 32HV10E from indiatimesshopping..

Only confusion left in mind is USB port…This model is only available online at indiatimes.. rest all sites shows 10ze model while this is 10e only..

does it have USB Port is a big question… even toshiba site does’t mentioned it.. but why then indiatimes mentioned

One more thing if anybody possess old model.. pls give a review…weather it has USB port or not.. I am to buy only for watching movies from PENdrive only…

Thanks a lot dimers.. YOu always helped and this time too i expects the same from you…

If you see ‘USB port : yes’, then why worry ? IT should be there. If not, return it !

Indiatimes website is notorious for such errors.

As per technical specifications on the Toshiba website ( http://www.toshiba.com.my/product/product_detai… ) There is no USB port in 32HV10E

The next higher model 32PB1E ( http://www.toshiba.com.my/product/product_detai… ) can be bought for around 16k and has a USB port but even that model will be useless for you as it can only play audio (mp3s) or display pictures from USB. (No video)

So even if a TV has USB port then also before buying see what all formats TV can play from the USB drive.

Not agreed! If the TV has a USB port but still can’t play movies via pendrive (which is the purpose he needs it for), then what?

Mraj bhai this TV doesn’t has VGA input (manual of this TV http://www.toshiba.com.my/downloads/19-24-32HV1… ). It has an HDMI port so I was thinking that Sanjay may be able to connect his netbook (which has a VGA port) to his TV using VGA to HDMI cable
VGA to component cable (available for 150 approx) could be another option.
