Need to buy Philips Steam Iron. Pls help !!

- Bought a different (better) model of philips a while back from tradus for some 900 i think

- Someone in another thread just posted there is one site which sends 300 of coupon on your mobile. Search google and try out that(i never received any though)
- Also check before hand that HS18 coupons are working (someone said not working on electronics; definitely not working on memory cards)
- There are some latest models out like

Thanks dealsaint for replying. Philips 1440W I tried seeing them in metro on weekend and they are very heavy, so I thought better to go for 1200W in philips. Tradus giving 300 coupon :-O Ok I will google around for that…And I see your reviews daily even I remember that 28-30-28 lol hilarious comments from you..though I joined yesterday I used to see your comments from outside…you are a perfect analyst ..Cheers!!

@DealSaint – I got the 300 off on 1100 with tradus. Googled around and got the sms coupon to my mobile. A small question, is the green color iron from HS around 750(after discount) or the blue one at 880 from tradus after discount…Links are there in your and my post

- BLUE one (which i advised (tradus link)) is of course better .
- 1400W vs 1200W
- Push water Sprinkler Spray vs None
- All else appears same
- Bit costly though
- If don’t want sprinkler (steam does the same job to be frank) and can do with less wattage (saves electricity too), go for the cheaper one…i.e. GC1010

@DealSaint – Do you want the coupon? If I go for HS ka GC1010 I will give you this tradus ka 300 coupon I don’t want it also. I will check with my mom as to see which one she would prefer will show both links, but blue color seems to be good & 1400W will consume high power :-O

1. if the wattage is high the only +ve thing the iron gets heated up fast right?
2. Push water sprinkler, I guess my mom will not be able to understand how to use it, so both are fine green or blue
3. Sky Blue color is good compared to the green one
4. Dont know about HS dint shop earlier, but bought a SanDisk 16GB from tradus and they shipped it got delivered to me in 4-5 days.

P.S – Even if I use the coupon, I will be getting one more coupon from tradus I guess as I wrote some +ve review about it on a site for all the reviews they are gonna send 300off on 1100 coupon (For sure will give this if I get in case if I use the current coupon for buying iron). Just googled and found

1. Right IMO
2. Push water spray is the blue thing protruding out (like a long bar) on GC1015. One needs to push it to sprinkle water out from front. Thats it.
3. I have the blue one. I love the color.
4. Tradus people have been good to me and more professional that HS18 (in my experience)

Its 1k man .. decide it (not much to decide either)

Yes i don’t need the coupon like mad(i may not even use it instantly; does it have expiry date?) I actually thought you have more than 1 (i never got on any of my cellphones; May be DND issue)
Just do what you want without thinking about giving coupon to me.

It got delivered and I see its a 1200W iron box whereas its shown as 1400W on their website. Please let me know how to deal with tradus now regarding this improper information on website. Is there a way to ask them to send 1400W as it is what is mentioned on the website.

This one is the best 1440W. I am using it from 6 months . There is not significant weight diff in 1200 and 1440w.

And iron should have some weight or you have to use your weight for press…:-D

I eMailed Tradus support yesterday and did not hear from them back I will call to their toll free customer care if I am not getting any reply by tomorrow afternoon…Thanks @Jai and @Technocrat
