is from an ebay merchant who is selling for 39.1K (body+kit+freebies)…anyone has a good coupon to apply
(He/she hasn’t listed it yet on Ebay; I know its a good deal BUT still i see some delhi local sellers selling for 36-37 (contacted one..lets c)

Any other way to squeeze out some bucks? Any other good deal (ready to ship from abroad ..can’t find any GOOD deal)

Most of the sites its OOS (Flipkart/Tradus/BTP ..tradus has a very good price )… not sure whats going on with NIKON india

Hey I myself confused between canon 550 and Nikon 5100 , canon 550d is 18mpix as compared to 16 mpix . But since u optin for Nikon can enlighten me wid the advantages Whn compared to canon , plus d deal on eBay of 31k for 550d was killer but I missed it .

- Yes, it appeared bit shady but when i contacted Shopbychoice first, they said they will arrange (later they refused)
- Rightshopping’s price was too low (even lower than some delhi dealers)..so called them the first day > Answer was NO STOCK (As expected at that price)
- Ezeekart price is not worth it.
- I only heard about rightshopping and shopbychoice before.

IMO
- Everyone has different priorities and usage and one should find them firstly and decide/spend based on that
- I would go with Nikon 5100 out of 2.
Reasons :
- I love Nikon more than canon (even though i had more Canon P&S camera in my history)
- I prefer Canon for P&S & Nikon for DSLR’s
- Nikon bodies are bit costly and lenses cheaper (one spends more on lenses than bodies in life)
- D5100 wins over 550D by quite a margin (see below)

thanks , i agree abt the mpix thing coz used a sony 10mpix and had some amazing shots on my kashmir trip ..neways i am using a Sony nex5 but im missing the real Dslr feel and quality …so 1st wanna sell it and then buy a Canon most prolly ..

Thats a good price (almost cheapest online IMO). Though as you said minor gripe that 5% off coupon can’t be used(deal of the week)
The seller’s rating are falling too , lately. I am still waiting for replies to 2 messages sent 4 days ago regarding another product.
