Hello friends!
I seek some recommendations for my new mobile phone purchase. I am willing to spend around Rs 20,000 + 1/2 K or if there is something good under 20,000.
As of now, there are following phones I am thinking about
- Galaxy S4
- Galaxy Grand 2
- OnePlus One
Please give your recommendations, pros and cons of any models if you know.
Also, what are the best options to buy the phone while saving the most? Will eGVs help? How many can be used for single purchase? What denominations will result in best price?
Thank you very much for the help

Yes you are right about the software part of Huawei.
But someone who don’t like messing around with Custom Roms this actually can be a great option.
Not everyone want to install custom roms etc.
If root is available then plenty of things get covered.
I gave my dad Huawei Honor 3c and its a wonderful device most importantly he loves it.
Agreed on the ROM part !
But even the people who have no concerns about using custom ROM’s do get tired of using one ROM forever eventually !
I believe its always better to have options especially if they are available ! This is where OPO triumphs any other device ! The community for OPO is just freaking amazing !
Anyways ….. Vish which ROM are you using currently on OPO ?
I appriciate and I am grateful for your help and time. The confusion is, some people want to keep OPO in a separate class and there are some who are complaining against.
Thanks everyone

Well to resolve your confusion , tell me a single device which every single person is satisfied ?
To be true there were yellow tint issues with first batch of OPO in India (which has a detailed reasoning ! ) but the devices which got shipped thereafter were excellent devices . And let me be clear i can be sure because i have one .
A few devices being faulty does not make entire line of devices bad . Read the reviews worldwide ! Also go to XDA OnePlus One page and see how big is the community . A phone is as big its community . No community no device . Do you know why GS3 was such a big hit ? Because community adopted it whole heartedly . You already have a fully functional Lollipop build for GS3 . That is what community does ! And before you buy a device you have got to look at the community and ofcourse the device which is excellent in every respect ! Check out the reviews on Amazon and see it for yourself !
Alright bro,
Thank a lot! Any idea about where to get an invite from? I have already subscribed for the invitation, haven’t got one yet.

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.HOW MANY DAYS WILL YOU SEE THE SAME UI AND NO CUSTOMIZATION NOTHING. U WILL BE IN STONE AGE IN A MATTER OF SECONDS.
YES DONT GO FOR IPHONES.
@TronGalaxy
I completely agree with you sir with time we might actually get bored with the same rom.
I still remember how frequently I used to change the roms on my Note 1. It was fun.
Huawei definitely lacks there on the software part even Asus.
And on my OPO I am currently using the default CyanogenMod 11s rom without any tweaks.
I am very happy with it and will shift to a new rom only when final build of CM12 stable version arrives.
What rom you are using?
My suggestion … go for oneplusone if you want performance … otherwise go for S4 or Galaxy Note 3 Neo because it’s still hard to explain friends and family who ask why XXXX why not Samsung/Nokia & call your’s 20000 XXXX phone, a Chinese phone. Kasam se jal jaati hai
Dont go for S4 or S5, not much of innovation same design and almost specs everytime.. I dont know about One plus One. I am using HTC One M8. Its buttery smooth and no issues so far for 6 months.
I was using XOLO Q800 prior and now I realize I should NEVER buy a third party chinese mobile(although even Apple makes from China, am talking about real chinese phones) hereafter. Radiation levels are high that will definitely affect the ears over a period of time along with heating issues over calls. Even if we have low budget, try to get some branded mobiles in our budget sacrificing the specs.
Whenever I play NFS most wanted the OPO gets warm and after sometime hot..
Where when I play asphalt 8 it never gets warm
Ahm
One plus one.
I need a one plus invite? Anyone has? Pm me!
Oneplus is best option.
Whoever sees it .. wants one..
Really Amazing phone.. My 5 friends bought this after seeing my phone..
