Hi,
I am looking to purchase a smartphone in the range of Rs.12,000 to Rs.25,000. I have been using MOTO G [1st Gen] for the past 2 years and it is still working fine though with some apps it is slow in response. But i am looking to replace it with a better phone. I use a lot of apps as well as play lot of games. So the main criteria for me in a smartphone are:-1. Compact Screen size – 5 inch (max 5.5 inch)
2. Memory – Atleast 32gb inbuilt memory.
3. Longer Battery life.
4. Atleast 2gb RAM
5. Camera – Atleast it should take good photos
6. Should be able to handle heavy apps and media content.
PS: I am also looking to buy a iPhone 5s or iPhone 6 for official use. So please provide me some good deals for iPhone also.

Buy oneplus one instead ( that would be more than enough for all your requirements )
Trust me there is no better option for power users
And save the rest of your money ….
Thanks a lot guys.. I am now thinking of getting either one plus one or one plus x. But need to wait for some 10% discount on Amazon eGV’s. Now have to wait for Amazon to provide any offers during Christmas and New Year..
Though a less notable processor, Lenovo Vibe P1 looks like a good option. Especially the battery of 4900 mAh.
Other than that, though Oneplus One is still better vfm than OnePlus Two, don’t you think you should definitely get a dual sim device nowadays? Is investing in a single sim flagship phone a wise decision at this point?
Yeah, Dual Sim is good but when you are a dimer and have multiple accounts of different sites and apps. It is better to have a single sim phone to avoid confusions
Or you have to use Bluestacks to avail cashbacks..
Guys, Will we get any more sale or deal offers during Christmas or New Year?? Or Shall i buy eGV’s from Flipkart using Axis 10% discount?? So that i can decide later on which mobile to buy?
If not in Hurry wait for Redmi 3 note.
It wld surely be a killer.

I am in no hurry… Main thing is to get a vfm phone so that atleast it works smoothly for 2 years and gets some good updates… After getting constant updates for my Moto G, I can’t help it but expect the same kind of updates for my future phone also
@gambitrite wrote:Mi is has been good in service & updates."@Cross":http://www.desidime.com/users/356961 wrote:

But…. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 does have Mediatek MT6795 Helio X10 right, and as per recent court order, MI cannot sell phones with MTK chipsets in india as read somewhere in our forum.

Moto G 3rd Gen TURBO Edition is coming.. Any idea about this phone and expected price of this mobile??

In any case, bank specific offers are not going to be more than 10% most probably.
So i think you should just get the required amount of GV using the Axis if u have Axis now only.

I said that about the OP One, that even though it was more VFM for the price, being single sim is a big factor. And hence, one should go for OP Two instead, just because it was dual sim and future proof, and not because a person is gonna make full use of the 4GB RAM anytime sooner.

“Qualcomm and Xiaomi have announced a patent licensing agreement that would cover Qualcomm’s 3G, 4G patents including including 3-mode (LTE-TDD, TD-SCDMA and GSM), complete devices. The agreement is a big deal for Qualcomm, which has been struggling with Chinese brands to enter into patent licensing agreements and had to pay a $975 million fine to the Chinese government in an anti-trust case. However, this could be a bigger deal for Xiaomi as the agreement would finally pave way for the smartphone maker to be able to sell its entire range of smartphones in India.”

If this is true and if Xiaomi brings Redmi Note 3, then it is very good news. Let’s hope for the best.

I missed my phone somewhere, and I’m trying to figure out where I lost it. For now I have to buy a temporary phone for few months.
- I was using an old iphone 5s
- I’m not a power user.
- I have to check mail, map, and twitter.
- and want to use Uber
Can anyone suggest a phone for me? I don’t want anything that looks cheap. But I don’t want to spent a bomb as I want to buy iphone 7 within 7-9 months.

after using Redmi You won’t be saying this again…
Bro I’m using one plus two and it’s butter smooth without any heating problem, so you can go with it… Few heating will occur at head of mobile when you will doing heavy gaming but in normal use it is mind blowing.. U can also see the video about this phone on net but if you want to buy lower budget mobile phone then go for moto g3 turbo edition plus there is exchange offer on this mobile too plus as you are already moto user then ping yourself to get 1000 store credit…
Now choice is yours… Good day

Now Waiting for Lenovo K4 Note.. It almost ticks all the boxes (my minimum requirement in a phone). Now have to wait and see if they can deliver a good phone.

Did you figure out which phone to buy ? Would have suggested Lumia 730(good looking, vibrant display, amazing camera) For mail, map(it’s offline for Lumia) Lumia is good, But you may miss certain features in apps like twitter and uber.
Is Nexus 5x 32gb worth at around Rs.29,000/- ??
