I bought Ainol Novo 7 Paladdin through my relative in US, got if for US$109.

I am a Blackberry user for the last 1+ year.

All functions available in a Tablet PC is available in BB also.

Tablet is big in size and difficult to carry wherever you go, mobile or BB with a 3" screen is sufficient for suring, games, movies etc.

Personally I feel an android mobile or any other smartphone is better than a Tablet PC for daily use. Only go for tablet pc if you are a game freak or movie freak

Actually i want it for my cousin & he is 9 year old …. And for his school work he need to browse internet 3 4 times in a week. Budget is 4K.

Friend, 3G /Gprs tablets are costlier than wifi device. If you just need a wifi device, you may get it with resistive touch. If you are paying 4k, then better not to look for warranty..

Avoid aakash tab. may be you can get him a usb keyboard too. So that his finger will not go for ‘wear n tear’

Bigger screen is always better to browser. Now i cant even browse on a 4" screen after i started using my dell streak (5").

For a Kid, it is better to have 7" screen !
