No, apple doesn’t honor International warranty, infact apple service centres in india don’t even take in items that are not in warranty… They simply refuse to repair em.
Well I tried with an iPhone and they aimply refused, not sure about other items because I got a US sold Macbook repaired here.
Since I’m looking to gift it to one of my relatives so I’d actually like to purchase it from India itself incase they have any issues in future.
I know many people are selling amazon.in gv’s they got from woohoo deal.. And I’m looking at all possibilities of getting it cheaper but really confused.
And one more thing.. is it safe to buy such stuff (refurbished) from sellers like greendust, valuecart or shopclues who claim to offer 6 months manufacturer warranties?

if so, then do think of procurring it from UAE, HongKong from fair stores/ shops to rule out fakes. Else Amma zone or Ewwwebay is always there. I say the on-line portal names just for reference. You may take the killer sale day route too like when they have Black Friday or Thanksgiving type sales.
