Seller add ons + commission + main is advertising of others on its own site / AdSense .
EBay third quarter profit is 500-600 million dollar .
Amazon USA earn profit or loss bcoz of low profit margin .
Also imp thing eBay earn 20-25% profit in compare to its total sale .
Amazon earns 2-5% profit 10% atmost in compare to its sale and many times bears loss too .
Amazon early sale is 5-6 timea of eBay sales .

Well thats for FY 2014-15 (till March 2015), new reports will come soon and losses will be around 1000 Crores , and these losses are very small , they are betting on market share , although at last no ecommerce company would be profitable, venture capitalists will go bankrupt for sure
