Btw I m using strobe 2 daw with apple garageband, and I m a newbie to buy professional version
These days label’s screw the genres of track like for ex: a pure EDM track would be categorized as Progressive house in Beatport which is ridiculous and non sense. So when it comes to pure Electronic Music I always love Deadmau5 for his talent to produce using analog instruments. I am from Bangalore and since almost 5 years I am trying to get into production side but financially its always a pain to invest.
EDM has taken a new scene nowadays with all the crazy samples every random guy produces. Even David guetta feels boring to me.
I still remember the day when I went to the Deadmau5 gig in Bangalore and went absolutely crazy.
If anyone is interested in Progressive/Deep House and in Bangalore then mark your calender for April 22 and location would be Tao Terraces bceause Praveen Achary (He opened for Deadmau5) would be performing.
I have been digging every torrent, forum for fresh tracks that match to my taste and now the collection lies around 3.5TB. And my sources mostly include:
rutracker
KAT
TPB (used to be)
plixid
israbox
discog
last.fm
pandora
Musicbrainz Pi (to tag them properly)
Nowadays I mostly maintain FLAC versions of tracks

bro as i said ,i consider myself not that mch experienced or passionate right now to invest such big amounts…….however if fl studio is free i would try it……
and do you produce just for timepass or u r serious abt it and if serious, do u had prior knowledge about keyboard, because I think it is the most important thing for producing music and for creating we must be atleast acquainted with introductory music notes knowledge
