How u can codes regularly ?
How can u sell above MRP ?
I think he is referring loose sugar price .All branded sugar price mrp is 55. Loose item has no MRP and all branded item has MRP and I don’t think big basket is selling it more than MRP.We are always in complaining mood if we get 1 thing costlier .Since last many months I am getting at least 20% off using different bank specific code .

Kehna kya chhahte ho bhai… Tum to DIMERS ke falsufe (philosophy) ko chunoti de rahe ho…
@homura Sure, some BigBasket-branded items might be a little more expensive than the market price, but ALL of their products are better than market quality! Period.
Moreover, they have a no-questions asked return policy. If you are not satisfied with the quality of their in-house products, why don’t you utilize that option rather than slandering a trustworthy brand like BigBasket?
Let me also add that their promotions and discounts have always more than made up for any extra rupee that they are charging for their premium quality products.
First and most basic point is “No trader/businessman in fact any person is no saint”, If you follow them blindly, they will take advantage of you. Be it business, politics or anything.
sugar is listed as 45 rs in most of online shopping sites . even the reliance one . Buy discounted products from bigbasket or grofers .
Pulses were cheaper on bigbasket few days back .
Tur dal 2kg was shown as 300 Rs and 25% or 20% off using any bank card .
I dont think we can get this price for pulses in local stores too .i might be wrong too .
Local stores don’t provide 200 off on 1000 or even cashbacks. They will ask you for that 1 rupee as well.
I agree the prices are higher for SOME items though.
They charging Rs.47 for Sugar 1 kg , but if I goes to Dmart every time price is Rs.37-40 . and here 7-8 extra .. These 7-8 extra per rs.100 automatically becomes 100 rs for 1000 rs almost .. Ex Dmart price for Sunday Sunflower oil is 80-83 in Navi Mumbai and other Like Bigbasket Rs.90 around . That it is what they are charging extra 5-10 rs and they provides Wallet offers , become same .. I only order if prices lower than Dmart Calculations only . Grofers stopped Offers like 15% + 10% CB .. That was good .. Nothing more now .:(

Only people in Mumbai and Pune have that luxury now.
RelianceFreshDirect not available at other places now. So the exploitation of BigBasket will continue.
Then stop buying from there, no one is forcing you to buy. It is a online portal, they show you the prices before you buy, you are free to check prices elsewhere and buy at your own discretion. Stop cribbing.

Use 20% off using Bank offers on BigBasket.
Even if it works out to be the same price as Dmart.. You get the convenience of product delivered at your doorstep.

Make a rule – - Only Buy MRP selling products from Bigbasket and other grocery apps.
Buddy OK. But I use to order only Oils and buiskits and that is now at discount in BB … Spending around 600-700 on these. . I am not against for BB .. I just want to tell. sorry if feel any 1 bad .. But haven’t order from BB in Navi Mumbai … So let know me if any 1 Herr from navi Mumbai or Mumbai
I am From Mumbai, I buy From Grofers and BB to cut the RUSH, FUEL Price and Time. I buy only when there is some offer going on. I See lots of people go shopping in hypercity and Dmart. Comes out with cart full of items and hires a AUTO to home. I call them Stupid.
My Big Basket orders are always on time. They have to delivery on time or else users get 10% of cart value back in wallet.

Let’s not forget the huge timesuck and frustration involved in the checkout queue.
For products with MRP , i dont think you would find the products at a cheaper price.
For products like pulses and sugar – if you find the quality good – Dont mind paying an extra 5 rs a kg. Arent you saving your time & fuel?
If difference is huge – go ahead and buy those from local stores.
They cant keep everything cheaper than your local stores. How will they pay salaries to those who deliver?

I live very close to a local wholesale market so I never get loose pulses and non-branded stuff from bigbasket.
I too observed this undue price hike for some products.

This rice bag is available for Rs1450-1550 in the local market. But BB is charging Rs1900. I mailed them, but got dumb reply, which says their price is reasonable.
If this is their model they will eventually fail in India which is price conscious.
they stoped 20% cashback offers from paytm & payzapp, now i don’t think they are worth
use offer of Axis bank 20% off ,Sbi 25% off ,25% off ICICI on Tuesday

Don’t we do price comparison for everything. Does Amazon provide everything at a cheaper price than local stores?
Don’t we all buy the ones which cost us less on Amazon/Flipkart and buy the rest from local stores?
If we are looking at product comparisons – I can give you a lot of products which we always get at MRP from local stores ( Patanjali products being one example) but a 20% here makes it a great deal.
I have always found them reasonable. Best thing is they are always on time and bring all the products promised unlike Grofers.

always they will provide 5 to 6% off on huge bill, so its win-win no lose
Big Basket is taking UNDUE Advantage of Online Shoppers by 20% OVERCHARGING of simple Grocery item like Sugar, AT THE SAME TIME SUPPLYING LOWER GRADE product.
Online Shoppers BEWARE of such crooks.
Market Price of Grade-S (small size grain) Sugar is Rs.39/- BigBasket Charging Rs.47/- This is straight looting the Online shoppers.
Abnormal profiteering by BigBasket.
