Cheated by Snapdeal. Please someone suggest a solution

Product : Panasonic CS/CU-ZC20PKY-3 1.5 Ton 3 Star Cube Air Conditioner

I have ordered this A/C from Snapdeal on May 12th for my Mother in
Law’s house as a gift.

I placed this order online as I was out of County at that time.

But Snap-deal didn’t ship the item in the specified time frame and
didn’t provide me the tracking number yet.(YET.. It is still showing
the Estimated shipping date alone in My Orders section. No shipping details)
So I requested to cancel the order.

Though we didn’t receive any tracking details and despite of Order cancellation request , On May
last week my Mother in Law received the A/C parcel and she informed me the receipt of the A/C Parcel

We were at a sigh of relief that at least we received the parcel now.
So I immediately replied Snapdeal to stop my cancellation request as we received the product.

We called the Panasonic Customer care and the installation was done on the next day itself.

Just yesterday I returned from abroad and visited my Mother in Law. And I was shocked
to see the A/C.

We were cheated absolutely. I ordered a 3 star model (Panasonic
CS/CU-ZC20PKY-3 1.5 Ton 3 Star Cube Air Conditioner )which was 23800/-

but what we received was (Panasonic CS/CU-ZC20PKY 1.5 Ton 2 Star Cube
Air Conditioner) which was just Rs.21490/-

Now when called Snapdeal about this mishap, they just refuse to take any complaint stating
that we should have informed snapdeal within 7 days and they can’t do anything.

My mother in law don’t have the knowledge to look the model number. She just said me that it is Panasonic 1.5 ton A/C.
I also didn’t expect that they would’ve sent a wrong product.

Now Please suggest a solution how to claim compensation from Snapdeal.

Can we go Consumer court? Snapdeal says that it is our mistake that we didn’t report it within 7 days. It is just another week late.
We were at a great distress with this purchase from Snapdeal.

I just need the dispute amount 2310 back. How it can be claimed?

U already missed the 6% discount offered under ELX6.

TELL them for booking them under cybercrime laws and cr pc section and consumer court , there is no such limit of 7 days.
So, if want the difference of 2k bak. Ask for somethings more. Then they will settle for 2k.

At present u can book fresh order with 6% extra means 1500:, so ask them 4k plus any installation if u spent .
Or. Ask them to take back wrong product and issue full refund. Little more persuasion will pay off. Can u post the screen shot of bill with 2 star mentioned. ?

They have to correct the mistake which is evident from documents plus prressure from facebook if u do. That.
Happy resolving. Beat the Panasonic higher ups.

Call Them Up And Tell Them Solve Your Problem Otherwise Will File FIR In Police Station And Inform Media For This Cheating

Just Say Clear Everything To Them….

Call Seller If You Have No In Invoice Which Provide With Ac Call Him Up And Explain Everthing …..

You Should Be Strong When Speaking Otherwise They Will Not Give You Anything

Keep Posting In Facebook Page Of Snapdeal Do Spamming Daily 5 To 10 Times

You Will Get Your Solution In One Week If You Do Above Things…

Snapdeal provides better service than many other ecommerce sites. But that’s only as long as everything goes fine. But once you get into trouble with the product, you are totally deserted without any help.
Wish your problem gets resolved at the earliest. I’ve no suggestions right now because I did all that facebook and threatening, spamming blah blahs but in vain. They are completely indifferent to customers’ issues. https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_sad.gif
I did not have the time and energy to go to consumer court and all. But in my case, I got the money back though without any compensation for my loss of energy and money spent. Good luck!

Please notify Snapdeal of receipt of a damaged/ defective product/service within 48-hours of delivery to You. If You are unable to do so within 48-hours, Snapdeal shall not be held liable for the failure to replace the order;

Does this mean the fault is within us, that we failed to notify this wrong product in right time?

I also got wrong product worth Rs. 400 and they gave me compensation of 100 SD cash and also refunded for my wrong product. Only way is threaten them.

Yes you need to complaint with in 48 hour…but still u can raise question on quality check fail. Delivering a wrong high value product is purely a blunder.

there are some conditions which is applicable according to law not according to seller.
For example when shopkeepers write, “Once item sold it can not be taken back”
they can not write this, according to law they have to take it back if an problem comes.

so avoid what snapdeal wrote in their terms just sue them
