So finally today i purchased the Philips HD4928/01 Induction Cooktop from Flipkart for my mom . https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif
I have never used the induction so dont know much about it , but i have seen in many homes .
i would like to ask the dimers who are using induction cooktop whether Philips or any other that how good is this Philips HD4928/01 Induction . coz from last 1 day the deal was showing , and i know it is the cheapest ever , still ppl did not purchased ithttps://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_eek.gif
Does this induction has some issues ?
Secondly if after using induction for 3-4 days i feel that its not good , or iam not able to use it , can i return it to flipkart and get refund … ??

plz friends i need ur suggestions coz if not now then some months later i hav to surely purchase an induction and if this is the right choice then should i keep it …

@hackerboys
For induction cooktop you need special induction cookers , induction Utensils
The normal utensils dont work in induction cooktops bro ,
First confirm these then move to next step

yes bro..
normal iron tawa and all doesn’t work bro..
some different utensils which are known as induction based are to be used for induction cooktops
like induction base cooker , induction base tawa and all…

I have hd4938 model of philips and its good…
On first u will find it hard to operate but every passing day u will notice induction cooking is good..
Utensils u will have to purchase of induction based…
Using from 2 years now….
Some type of food preparation is not possible on induction but majority is easily done…

Induction cook top has flat surface , so Dont use any curved surface utensils is not suitable.

The utensils comes with max. Surface contact and metal suitable for induction heat. However, induction based utensils can be used for normal cooking.

Another, use if induction Cooktop is for keeping the food warm, extensively used in buffet, hotels.

If the item is out of stock with the seller you purchased from, you will get a refund. Otherwise, things may turn out a bit cumbersome. If you face any problem, just PM me. https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_wink.gif

Philips induction cooktops are good. This is an old model but should serve its purpose. Any flat bottom stainless steel utensil will work well with it. Rice cookers have to be specifically induction based. Copper bottom ones should not be used with it. As Barood said, the important thing is contact area between the bottom of the utensil and the induction plate. The larger it is, the better the results. Hope you find the item useful and will never have to get back to those buggers with an issue. https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif
