To appease him, many pay obeisance every Saturday by lighting a lamp before the image of Shani and reading the ‘Shani Mahatmyaham’. He is pleased to accept lamps lit with sesame or mustard oil. mai jab 12th standard mai tha tab mere 1teacher ne muzse kaha "beta pankaj , mai shani hui , mai agar kisike piche pad gaya toh eo zindagi mai kabhi paas nahi ho paoge- kyuki mai uske 1bhi practical attend nahi karta tha , lekin final practical mai usne muze sabse zyada markd diye jitne ke toppers ko diye , tabse maine maana ki shani is good !! ye alag baat hai ki usne muzese 3thousand alag se liye!! so moral of thr story is – agar aap shani ko respect karoge toh woj aapki respect karega!! JAY HO SHANI BHAGWAN KI!!
