DD is a great community and there have been numerous times I have got help from many dimers out here but a rather unknown and a person to whom I have hardly spoken on this community came to my rescue when I needed the most .

My brother had fallen pray to dengue in Gurgaon and was undergoing treatment in Fortis Memorial Research Institute Gurgaon. His platelets had fallen down to 12k when I had to rush to Gurgaon to help my mom who was alone handling the situation . There was nothing much I could do rather than hope that the doctors out there were taking the right decisions at the right time . His body had rejected platelets transfusion once and the second one ( single donor ) only helped it increase from 16k to 21k .

The doctors were planning a third transfusion and I was worried about what should be done . I needed a second opinion but I personally dint know anyone apart from the General Physicians and Practitioners who may not have been the most ideal person to help me out in this situation.

That time I remembered that someone around six months back had pinged me asking which doctor had treated me for dengue( I fell pray to it last year and it happended that the dimer was a doc in the hospital i was admitted to ) . That day itself the guy gave me his contact no just in case ever i needed his help . It was this really small conversation and no conversations ever in the following months .Felt little hesistant to contact him intially but then left him a whatsapp message hoping little .

But it turned out the other way round . It was janmastami ( maybe one of the rare days when he would have got an off attending his patients ) but @amitburad3076 made sure he did everything he could to help me . He spent his precious free time helping someone whom he hadnt ever seen , neither spoken and had barely had a small conversation with that too months ago.

And he just dint stop there at advising me about his situation and letting me know whats to be done next and whats not . He had a reference who knew the doctor who was treating my brother and took the efforts of checking the case with the doctor himself .

Hats off to you doctor for giving whatever help you could provide to my family at the moment . Really appreciate your help , for being so humble , for your precious time and my entire family wants to thank you for helping us out .

This will remain one of my most cherished moments of all time and truely whatever you did was really special.

Hes not a man of online karmas but a man whose real life karmas maybe way ahead than anyone of us . Doctor @amitburad3076 god bless you and your family and may god fullfill all your wishes and you acheive all the happiness in your life .
