Few VPN Services that in MY Experience were (And most Probably are) Amazing
First about VPN – It’s Virtual Private Network , basically a virtually Created network in you pre existing network (Most commonly Internet)
I Wouldnt be explaining much about it , as its just a Single Search away on “Google”
Heading On to the VPN serivce Providers -
But before that WHY “this” is needed..??
There could be many reasons , few of them listed below-
Foremost – Hacking and Unethical Purposes {Agree upon it or not! }
Removing the Restrictions Posed by your ISP {Today’s Eg – http://www.desidime.com/forums/dost-and-dimes/t... }
Privacy Concerns
Etc..
So The providers in my opinion , providing quite good services..
On Windows –
SORRY to say but till date the only “FREE” Again I am saying “FREE” VPN provider I liked for PC is “SecutiyKiss” (Google iT!! ) For Windows – http://www.securitykiss.com/resources/download/...
Reasons for Liking –
First and Most Important one – SUPER FAST speed , comparitive to others (Actually they provide few IP’s in free version , AND “One” of it is simply amazing , rest all are OK OK , Just find THAT “One” ip and enjoy this 300 MB/day quota based VPN ..
Other popular ones – OPENVPN , Hotspot Shield etc..
On Android –
The Most Popular one – Hotspot Shield
See You can also use SecurityKiss on andorid too.. , but you have to manually set the VPN and for Android version 4.4 (I read somewhere , that there is a bug in VPN setting of Android 4.4 , so just check it out yourself , wether its true or not)
Opera Max – Just google Play it , its not Directly available in India now , but hey “apps.evozi.com”
This VPN service is provided by Opera →
This VPN is only for android (Currently) , and after turing it on , it doesnt change your IP address, so Cant be used to fool some sites/ for Hacking Purposes
This service also help in saving data , and YES the best thing about it is – “It allow ‘Non-Rooted’ Android users to block few apps to access the internet at all ”https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor..." alt=“smile” border=“0”/> )
And for the issue of “Airtel” , I will recomend to try First –
Opera Max
then if it fails SecurityKiss Manual Connection
and at last Hotspot Shield/SuperVPN
Else umm. any other VPN you like..
Hope this Post would be Interesting / Useful / Informative / etc..
Like if you like it , Dislike (With the Reason of Disliking) if you dislike it , and comment if you wanna Suggest something….
Edit1 – I just now checked @ Securitykiss.com , on 17-12-2014 , They Discontinued there PPTP Services , So No SK on Android :/
L2TP Connection is Not Working on my JellyBean , Try on your Androids – LiNk –
First go here – http://www.securitykiss.com/resources/download/... , and enter your email id
Then go here http://www.securitykiss.com/resources/tutorials...
And set it up on YOur Android..
Note : That “one” IP of Security kiss is – 31.24.33.221

No Docomo in Delhi , So No !dea though , it should have worked.. :| :weird:
@OP
Excellent thread. I have a suggestion. This thread would have been much more informative if you had included steps to configure VPN on PC and android. A simple google search should solve the problem for many users however there maybe a set of users who would still prefer to get all information from once place.
KG for OP.

i have seen many deals/offers etc.. but never used/understood how is it benefit to me

Wierd but I was able to get SecurityKISS working with Tata Docomo today. I guess the Premium version of it from a giveaway was to blame.
Yup I use Securitykiss as well & am very satisfied. But it does not work in Docomo or does it? Atleast it did nt work for me. Works with other operators tho.
