Flipkart is not giving replacement for mobiles without smartchk app downloading and diagnosing

I have purchased Redmi2 10 days ago, opted for flipkart due to their 30 days replacement guarantee, I have got faulty piece, with tremendous heating fast battery draining problem, I raised replacement request, on second day I got call from their technical team that I have to install smartchk app that will connect to their system and they will analysis the problem with mobile, I argumented with them that it is no where written on your product page that for replacement I have to follow this procedure, they have no answer but to repeatedly insist for app installation, I said I do not have Internet connection, then they said they won’t be able to replace the handset if I do not follow what they said. Suggestions needed on this issue.
request ko follow up krte raho.. finally change kardenge jab complaint ko kai din ho jayenge.. daily mail karo.. support ticket no. wahi use kerna har bar jab b mail karo…

I have no problem with installing app but flipkart haven’t mentioned anything regarding that, after purchasing they put hidden conditions of customers that’s deceiving, cheating with us.
I haven’t used this smartchk app before so not sure but if the problem is genuine and they refuse to replace
Tell display is not working and when they ask you to touch on the screen don’t touch ; or trying something similar and make it appear like a genuine problem

All the returned phones go back to manufacturers who would run their own set of tests to determine the defect. In many cases products returned might not show any signs of defect . I’m sure manufacturers have pressurized Flipkart to have some diagnosis mechanism in place before issueing refund/ exchange .

Very true ! For the same reason, I don’t think Flipkart is doing anything unjust .
If he is really facing a problem, he should do what they are asking for.
Their used to be (now people knows) instances when people take their phone to their retailer to claim warranty for x,y,z reason and they would tell that this particular problem is not covered under warranty. At last you could do nothing except to pay for it.
Similar in this case. But, if you install the app and still FK doesn’t find any problem in your phone, then you take any action against them as you want. I will be with u !

People buy Nokia & samsung mobile to get coupon benefits & then claim back. I know 2 such person. So flipkart is good here.
Install the app & prove mobile is bad. What is the issue here.

abhi jis internet se DD pe itni post daal raha hai, vahi se app bhi download kar ke check kar lene de unhe…ab bolega ke wifi nahi hai…to 4 rs vala sachet pack le le internet ka ek din vala itna bhatakne ki jagah.
aur haan, ek baat bata…internet to hai hi nahi…fir koi app bhi ni hogi tere phone me…sirf call/sms me bahut heat ho rahai hai kya ?

Will resolve the issue in 3-4 days, will install app and diagnose if I have no choice, but flipkart also came in queue like other cheap ecom sites, will be careful in future before buying

@op. You are trying to fight a loosing battle with Flipkart. You have complained that mobile is overheating . all phones heat and how are you certain that your is heating more than threshold specified by manufacturer . to cater to these problems, there are third party diagnosis tools. Your refusal to run the tool will only make matters works. Flipkart might be suspecting that you are trying to misuse their return policy.

Buyers pick on a single mistake in item description and create havoc for sellers.
