Flipkart Review - Negative

Voted up ur review on Flipkart

he he… They are not able to manage their own inventory. Now they have started marketplace. Bad times ahead for flipkart?!

Now DD may move it to product reviews section stating it will not help anyone in dost n dimes section. Be ready for anything and everything…

I personally had very good experience with Flipkart all the times I purchased.
Same with my friends too. Hearing such experience for the first time (except for that ninja pricing error deal and their bad followup).

Same here… its kinda addiction for me… though i am not a frequent poster, i do go through the deals and comments regularly. Every week i vouch to not open DD and do more work in office but i fail everytime. I do work in office but it would have been more if I stop visiting DD

PS: I am even planning to request our network folks to block this site and that way I can atleast stay away and concentrate more on work. At home, I anyway dont have access! But should see how it goes!

Good that I am not his fan but people usually call him “Rajini Sir” and I went by that.

As far as I remember, OP had left DD after trolling & said he had no time…….now when he’s finding himself in trouble…..he starts posting again!

If Im not wrong…..OP had bad reviews about DD too…..not much credibility to believe the reviews……

that’s rare to see negative for flipkart, but they should give clear picture rather fooling around to customer

I had bad experience with flipkart too.
I ordered one book and they sent a cheap replica with low paper quality. They had mentioned original publisher in the listing and took money for the higher quality book. I didn’t do anything at that time but it was a very unethical job by them

I agree with you, i too had a very bad shopping exp with flipkart, so i had avoided shopping with them.
three-four months ago, one of my relative in kolkata was in need for BP monitor. I convinced them that online shopping is safe and sound and they deliver within 3 days (working off course). I booked order of Omron BP monitor 7011 on Monday thinking that they will get it by Wednesday noon time. they shipped the product on Tuesday evening and was delivered on next week Tuesday noon. during this i had followed up many times for shipment not delivered and adding to this courier company was not able to tell where the packet is…?

I decided if shipping time is so much why not go to other site, where they do not charge anything for shipping and that too in lower prices with coupons and codes…

So i hate shopping with FLIPKART…

20+ orders, apart from late delivery no bad experience from flipkart. they have improved in shipping too since ekart started. now most of my orders are shipped within hour and I get in 48 hours. sometimes things may go wrong after all they get an order every second. and yes they remove negative or off topic review that’s why one should never rely on flipkart’s reviews. I see many deal posters uses it to advertise but in reality they are not genuine as they look.

i don’t have much problems with flipkart

expect their packing for books ( worst in industry ),

and one more problem is sub order delivery , if we place an order combining 3/4 books they will send you each book separately , each time i need to attend courier guy calls ,wastage of packing material .

I want to buy a Binocular from Amazon.com, US. The product is priced around 57$, excluding shipping, weighing about 2KG. Can someone here suggest how much custom and other duties (approximately) would it attract before it’s delivered to me in Delhi?

Any article on any site that explains the rules etc would be helpful too?

choose items shipped as global eligible which will give you final price you’ll pay irrespective of duties and taxes later on which will be amazon’s headache. if duty is higher to what you paid, amazon’s loss, if it’s lower to what you paid, your loss.

else you can go for pick-ups and shippers like ishopinternational.

Can you check if amazon ships it directly. If so, how much is the shipping cost they are charging.
2kg is very heavy and you will incur a very high shipping cost
As far as i know, you have these options :- Direct from amazon, Hopshopgo, aramaex shop and ship, ppobox, ishopinternational

I got all my six orders delivered hassle free. They are offering a first time discount of 500 off at present. My best experience with them was on New year when they offered 50% off on shipping. I saved 1700 then

many dimers have used various sites like above given by jlnithwf but mostly used is ishop for pantech burst/htc one v. you can check threads for pantech or htc one. to my knowledge they are pretty good in service. no first hand exp though.
