A week is a lot of time. Wait for a day. Day after tomorrow go to bank, directly talk to the manager and explain the situation, deposit the money, withdraw the same in the form of new currency

Stay cool. Return it to the same bank. They will definitely Exchange . The detail notification has not distributed yet. If possible transact online or by cheque.

Most of the middle class households would be facing this problem. We keep some liquid cash in hand in case of emergencies. It would be savings from salary but how can we convert all money at onceafyer this restrictions ? It’s a great move but common man has to suffer.
