Hi Guys
i am writing this guide for the people who are buying headphones
i am gonna write this guide over the course of few days so patience is appreciated :p

There are three types of headphones
1)In Ear
2)On Ear
3)Over Ear

1]Starting with In Ear :-Well In ear headphones basically sit in ear :p these are the headphones which are inserted in the ear canal (i am talking about in ear headphones not those old earbuds which used to sit on your ear im skipping these as they are old now) these headphones are very popular among people.these headphones are small and can be used literally everywhere wether you are travelling, at home any place you want you can listen to your music.these headphones block the outside noise.below are pros and cons of In Ear headphones.

Pros:-
1)Light weight
2)Blocks out surrounding noise
3)Can use different types of ear tips (XS,S,M,L)
4)Portability
5)Cheap price
Cons:-
1)prolonged use can cause permanent ear damage
2)irritation after prolonged use
3)Silicon tips are irritating (sometimes) (Better invest in memory foam tips they are good for the skin )
4)they get damaged easily if not handled with care(Well every item gets damaged if not handles with care)

Some tips on buying the right In Ear Headphones
1)don’t buy a headphone without testing it
try the headphone first, with your favourite songs on your own devices to ensure that they work fine and wether you like it or not and if they are comfortable to you. try them for at lease 3-4 days, in different environments like try your favourite songs while riding your bike,on your couch ,while sleeping, studying,in bathroom https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif etc
2)now ear tips :-
try try try every type of ear tip until you are comfortable(as mentioned earlier go for memory foam tips)
if you buy non comfortable eartips then you won’t enjoy the music
3)Low price dosen’t always mean bad quality headphones and high price dosen’t mean good headphones.
(finding the right type of earphone is a troublesome task with lots of experimentation that’s why i am here https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif)

Hi i’m back
time to update this thread with Budget IEM’s https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif
so after lots of thinking i have decided the following budgets
under 1000,under 2000,under 3500 and under 5000
there are gonna be 2 or more headphones under every budget https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif
(Suggestions are appreciated )

1] Under 1000:-
this segment is hard as there are literally thousands of headphones available in the market in this price range and finding a Bang for the buck headphone is hard (bang for the buck factor is different for different people according to the purchase power and comfort of the specific headphone to them with respect to sound quality https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif )

A]Sennheiser CX 180 Street 2 (without microphone)
this IEM is absolutely the awesome the sound quality is epic(Always try to use FLAC songs for better sound output or at least 320kbps songs)
I love CX180 one of the best IEM’s in market wat such a low price awesome bass and sound clarity don’t even ask ,this is Sennheiser,Sennheiser == Quality https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif
but the only thing which i didnt like is was the treble it way tooo much (this depends on personal preference )but still i love this headphones
they are light weight and small also it dosent come with a mic which might be a problem for some people but still its worth it .
its currently selling for 990 on amazon ,809 on snapdeal and 891 on flipkart i say beter wait for some time until amazon starts them selling for 700 again https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

B]Soundmagic’s ES18S IEM (With Microphone)
This is one of the best headphones in this price range.Okayish bass but sound quality is awesome with respect to price i got to try them for a week i didnt find them comfortable enough for me.the wire of this headphone is sensitive(i mean while listening if you hit the wire with your finger you will hear a little bit disturbance) but overall its a good buy also this headphone comes wiht an inline microphone and remote which is compatiable with almost all devices old and new it has a switch for old devices like old nokia and samsung phone and for new phone like HTC and iphones https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif
currently selling for 799rs its a good deal also it comes with 2 extra sets of ear tips https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

Amazon.in link :-http://goo.gl/...bd (this is not a referral link )

C] this new addition Xiaomi Piston 3 (with microphone)
i Ordered this yesterday :p :p
this is perfection i used it for 3 days an i loved it
Sound quality is awesome and so is bass an treble (use poweramp music player)
it has Kevlar fiber cable and braided sleeve so no problem with rough usage(try at your own risk i am not responsible for the damage :p ) and no tangles https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif
it comest with microphone and remote the microphone quality is better than that of Soundmagic.
it looks premium https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif
current price on the official MI website is 999
wait for sometime they are gonna start discounts

What Are the Different Types of Earphones?

Ans: There are various different kinds of earphones available on the market today, and with so many different choices, it is important that buyers know all they need to know about purchasing them. This guide will inform buyers about what an earphone is, the various types of earphones and the different styles they are available in, as well as give buyers suggestions on what to look for when buying earphones.

What are Earphones?
Earphones are basically speakers that are small enough to be used in or next to someone’s ears. Like the speakers on a radio or television, earphones are connected to a device that produces audio signals, either through a cable or through a wireless connection, and the sound travels to the speaker close to the user’s ears.

Types of Earphones
There are many different types of earphones. Each type of earphone is designed for a specific type of person who wants to get a particular quality of sound from the device. There are earphones that completely cover the ear when being used and earphones that are simply put inside the ear. The design of the earphone affects its sound and comfort. The following are some earphones and the pros and cons of each.

Circumaural Earphones
These ear pad over the ear headphones, or circumaural earphones, are typically made to be used by professional musicians or sound engineers because the way the earphone is shaped improves the quality of the sound. Each of these earphones have pads that encircle the ears in order to contain the sound waves within the space between the ear and the ear pad making the earphone almost like a soundproof room. Filtering out the ambient sound, and trapping sound in, the molded plastic, rubber, or metal circumaural earphones are great for users who don’t want to be distracted by outside noises.

Though circumaural earphones have great uses, it is important for a buyer to look at the pros and cons of any earphone before making a decision. The following chart shows the pros and cons of the circumaural earphones.

medium volume is not a problem but mostly people like to listen on full volumes and they have those earphones stuck in their ear throughout the day so what happens is , due to all the loud noise near our ears for so long our hearing ability decreases . also the ear wax increases https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif as our ears are blocked and less to no airflow in our ears https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

my advice is please do remove those earphone every now and then and do clean your ears https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif and drink water

on ear is never a problem but soud quality is less! its good for calls

i prefer in ear for music and movies. Bass effect is too good in it. One imposrtant thing is we have to clean those buds frequently as they r inside they contain lots of bateria in it.

oh boy! U should try panasonic TCM125 and u would throw all ur other earphones. u can get it for around 700 bucks.

much better than sennheiser cx180 or any odr in that range.
i got that SHQ1200 from ebay offer and they really sound like s#$% compared to tcm125.

I dont know why it isnt so famous. evn in fk and mazon it has exclnt reviews!.

best thing is it has mic and pause/play button.

but bass is on the lighter side but most of the EDM songs are quite enjoyable. and it doesnt tangle a lot

Try it out once and u’ld never want to loose them! https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif

That’s a myth. Listening at high volume via any medium will affect your hearing ability adversely.

Bought cx180 last week from paytm, cost me Rs.600 after cashback, makes it a real value for money product.
The build and quality are great for this price point, you can handle them rough and they will take it.

Not a audiophile, but from what I could hear, not a lot of bass, and mids to lows suit my liking. Did not try with a equalizer yet.
You get 3 size earbuds and can replace them to your fit and comfort.

A video review here :

No, MIC, no volume control buttons are the downers.
They are tangle free, but don’t seem to get very messed up.

I was worried about the authenticity because there was no hologram/code on the box, called up the Bangalore service center and they told me that codes are give for product worth above Rs.2K and above, also there have been no reports of duplicate cx180’s and I should not to worry.
While looking for the service center contact, read a few reviews about the service center and they are like “ask no question to replace” guys. Lot of reviews report of easy replacement when under warranty (only need a invoice).

Service center location : https://www.google.co.in/maps/place/Sennheiser+...

A big thumbs up form me, definitely consider this as an options if you are looking to buy a earphones under 1K.
