Q.1/ what will u replace ? U r not the network owner ? Actually its not SIM (hardware) specific , its something intangible like the mobile no activates on particular sim , which cant be solved even if u get a new sim. Either u replace the phone no or u replace rajrocks !!
Q. 2 Tell me, how many times you have written to nodal officer or appellate authority ? How many times you have done fight with them. U have to fire his/her ass to get your work done. Do u need address or phone no ? Let me know your circle ?
Better ENGAGE ur time with them, instead of DD complaint. DD ke pass to apni complaints bahut hain, airtel ki complaints kab sunega..
And here we r just guessing , who r not expert in networking (telecommunications).
3. Last.
Spoil the name of Airtel I’m Google by posting wherever u can including ragging/tagging their PR.

wtf bro seems im facing same exact issue as urs.
1. on so its nw issue. i cant replace this no n obvously i cant myself.
2. none till now. never faced this issue. used to get resolved by first level cc.
will surely ping u if req.
point of posting here is real time experiences n best & quick support over here vs airtel in pin pointing & zeroing in my issue. which u can see did happen.
3. bro, to be frank y to waste our valuable to time in doing such things. even if we do nothing major will happen.

Remember, my criticism is more helpful than my advice is. But only if you pay attention to it.
In this case, my advice is to throw away that SIM and buy a new one.

U have opened the bottle cap to let Magus jinn come out and now u r urself want to get rid of him ?
Seems u prefer building 4 lane highway from Mumbai to Dubai instead of understanding wife , like Gods preference.
U have to handle the root cause if u want solution .
Only one line email will work.

I have vodafone postpaid (recently converted to prepaid) from last 15 years. It starts with series 9899XXXXXX. Only 50% of system generated messages (eg bank trns, utility bill update, order status etc) come but message sent from individual subscriber definitely gets delivered. Many complaints made to Vodafone in past, followed with them, provided bank transactions sms pulse details (very difficult to get) but problem never solved.
Faced same with airtel previously, solved after a call to CC.
(I waited 2 days before calling CC)
@rajrocks Another idea, which I didn’t try for my SIM, is to claim that the SIM is damaged and request for a replacement SIM at the nearest Airtel customer care center. Since you would still have the original SIM with you, I don’t think the legalities (FIR, etc.) would be required. Do remember to carry the documentation you submitted at the time of obtaining the SIM and at least one photo for the CAF. I am almost certain that a replacement SIM would resolve your problem since the new SIM would be registering at your home tower with a new IMSI.
This will save you a trip to Bangalore.

as barood bro stated, its not the sim issue most likely. coz as i stated earlier after mnp which i did a year ago n did 2-3 sim replacements within last one year. but still would try this option in the last. last replacement was 1-2 months back only.

Rajrocks bro instead of scratching your head, just port out to some other network. You can come back to Chortel after 3 months if need be. You would be able to retain your no. too with that.

Android phone ka messaging text ka problem hoga, I guess. You might have forced stopped it. Check all apps and scroll down to last. Check your sim with old symbian phone.

Seeems @rajrocks problems never gets fixed.
I was not receiving SMS for 2-3 days and it became difficult to do any banking or online transactions. Removing SIM, putting another one and then replacing back my original SIM resolved this problem for me.
