Helpchat: Crediting money for no reason -- bug?

Something is wrong with Helpchat. One of my colleagues was supposed to receive cashback for a particular transaction done yesterday but they have been crediting money non-stop to his account. It’s already gotten to a few hundreds. Anybody else experiencing this?
He is getting greedy but I have asked him to stay put.

Guys, please do come forward with the amount you received if this has happened with you too. Let’s try to account for the loss of Helpchat due to this bug.

Well, its been 2 months since your that comment, I guess its time to do it already. You are an Uber fan boy, though OLA isn’t also too bad for themselves. Also, may be u do or don’t know, but dnt join Help*Talk* via any referral. Since, many of their offers/codes (deep discount types, such as 75 or 90% cashback) specifically mention, not valid for referred users.

Thanks for the info about limitations for the referred users — wasn’t aware.
As for Ola vs Uber, it’s 7 bucks per km with Uber, while Ola charges 10 bucks per km in Bangalore. So the choice is pretty clear.
P.S. I would prefer Uber over Ola even if Uber was charging a little more than Ola, say 10% more, simply because of better drivers, cars, and customer support.

You see, you are ignoring one very crucial fact that all these OLA rides are being booked via HelpGosssip, hence, you are getting atleast more than 50% off in cab rides (on lucky days 75% OFF), which essentially makes a minimum ride rate of per KM as Rs.3 at its best for 3 people in the same cab. As long is I am getting from Point A to Point B safely, via any means, I guess, as a general rule that shud be ok with anyone. Discounts are icing on the cake, also now helpbakar cash can be used to buy Amazon GC’s too. So cheap cab ride, cash back and then Amazon GC (with Amazon Prime free couriers) all this is too (much x good) all bcz of helptalk. Giving the current situation of discounts being dried up, this seems a viable option for people who are into saving bucks.

No. I downloaded the app, asked on DD for offers, discovered that Uber has been removed so did not signup. Hence “almost joined”.
