Fellow Dimers,
I have never used my SBI or PNB debit card online. But I want to use it online.
Does it require registration with visa or mastercard (as I registered by visa credit card for “verified by visa”)
Or only debit card no, atm pin and valid from is reqd?

Thank you in advance.

When you transact first time it will be like this:

Payment gateway will ask you details like name, card no., expiry date, CVV number etc. Enter all these.
When you proceed, it will take you to verified by visa or verified by mastercard site. There it will ask you for some details like email ID/date of birth etc and ask you to create a Verified by visa password or Mastercard secure code.
After creating this code, use it to complete the transaction.

Thanks a lot friend.
(1) SBI debit card does not have expiry? It only mentions “valid from” info. What to use in this case?
(2) Also SBI debit card has 19 digits on front. Does that mean first 16 digits are card no and rest 3 are CVV????

Bhai your SBI card has a 19 digit number so im assuming its a master/maestro card. I have never used a maestro card.
But looks like CVV and date of issue/expiry are optional in maestro card.

It does not mean that 16 digits are card no. and 3 are CVV no.. Your full card number consists of 19 digits.
