What is inner beauty all about?

By definition, inner beauty may be described as something that’s experienced through a person’s character rather than by appearances.

It’s the real beauty of a person that goes far beyond just physical appearances.

To most people, inner beauty is a joke. People say that inner beauty is something ugly people say to themselves to feel better. Of course, that makes perfect sense too. I mean, if you can’t see it, who can really tell whether it even exists in the first place?

The real truth about inner beauty and all its confusions

You may assume that inner beauty is something you can only feel and never see. But how true is that? There’s a big confusion between outer beauty and inner beauty, and in all that confusion, we’ve overlooked the true effort of inner beauty and given all the credit to outer beauty.

You may assume that you never notice inner beauty at first sight. But is that really true? Almost all the time, you notice a person’s physical appearance only for a moment, until the real inner beauty starts the attraction game.

You may speak to someone for a minute and find them pleasant or not-so-pleasant at first. But as the conversation goes on for a minute or two, you may start to pick qualities and traits, and without even realizing it, you may start to find a person more and more beautiful or charming. [Read: How to get someone to like you immediately]

What makes attractive people so attractive?

You may think it’s a chiseled face or a gorgeous physique that makes a person attractive. But more than anything else, it’s a person’s inner belief that they’re attractive that makes them more appealing to others.

It’s true, physical appearances can be a bonus, but it’s something that’s easily overlooked when other traits are brought into the picture.

The glow of confidence and doing love appeal comes from within yourself. Some of the most fancied personalities like Oprah, Lady Gaga or Tom Hanks aren’t really the prettiest of people. But their glowing confidence and self-belief makes them attractive to every member of the opposite sex.

Even Shrek the ogre seems loveable and nice once you get to know him, don’t you think?

First impressions don’t always depend on your physique or your facial features, but you need to believe that from within yourself. And that’s where your true beauty lies.

Are you beautiful on the inside?

Inner beauty helps you appreciate outer beauty. If you love, appreciate and feel good about yourself, you would feel more confident about facing and interacting with other beautiful people in the world. Remember, outer beauty can give you a glance, it’s inner beauty that makes someone stay. [Read: How to make new friends when you can’t find any friend

Is beauty really in the eye of the beholder?

I personally believe that beauty isn’t really in the eye of the beholder. I think beauty is within ourselves. What others see when they look at us is a projection of what we want them to see.

When you fill your thoughts with positive energy and inner beauty, you’d appreciate the things that are around you a lot more too. Even when you look at an inanimate object like a painting, or even a view of the ocean, it seems more beautiful to you because you see the beauty that overflows within you reflect in everything else around you.

If you feel beautiful, your own self belief and confidence brings out a glow of beauty that no outer beauty can compete with. But if you feel ugly, your inner beauty will reflect the same idea and project it on your outer beauty. If you truly feel beautiful on the inside, you’d never seem unappealing to anyone else.

Yes, it’s true that some people may want a 36-24-36 body in their partner ,but that’s only a preference. Just like how some girls see wealth as an important criterion when it comes to dating a guy, it’s all just a preference. And you really need to understand that from within.

Thoughts :

Women’s beauty is a kind of radiance, she possess a true inner beauty, her eyes are a little brighter, her skin a little more dewy.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman inside her loving soul
Something with inner beauty will live forever, like the scent of a fresh rose.

You are not born with beauty, your beauty is created by who you are.

Your inner beauty is more important than how people see you on the outside.
Beauty…when you look into a woman’s eyes and see what is in her heart and Beauty is the illumination of your soul.

Outer beauty is a gift. Inner beauty is an accomplishment
Do all the good you can , create a life that feels good on the inside, not one that just looks good on the outside, It is inner beauty which matters most.
Inner beauty, too, needs occasionally to be told it is beautiful
Her Beauty is not only in the face but also is a light in her kind heart.

Our hearts are drunk with a beauty our eyes could never see

A pure heart is superlatively rare and even more attractive.
If people were more concerned with how they looked on the inside, then on the outside, the world would be a nicer place to exist.
Beauty is not who you are on the outside, it is the wisdom and time you gave away to save another struggling soul, like you. .
Your looks don’t make you pretty, it’s the person inside who makes you pretty! Character develops in stream of struggle and adversity.
Character is foundation of your inner beauty which reflects in your personality.

Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly lies to the bone., Beauty dies and fades away, but ugly holds its own! Create and cultivate Inner ,Beauty that never fades away but grows and matures with Time!

Driver 1 drives the Corolla. He paid it off already, has a 2 bedroom house paid for, makes 300K per year and has no debt/credit to pay, saves handsome amount and sleeps happily.

Driver 2 drives the Merc Benz. He has 3 Years left to pay it off, has a 4 bedroom house with hundreds of thousands left to pay, makes 200K per anum and has poor credit, lot of debt to pay, sleeps with a lot of stress each night

Sadly many people would choose to be driver 2 because of what it looks like in spite of the reality that driver 1 is more wealthy. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is a good example of driver 1. Your circumstances will never change until the way you think changes.

A truly beautiful story :

@JonSnow

@mdeal001

During World War II, a soldier was separated from his unit on an island. The fighting had been intense, and in the smoke and the crossfire he had lost touch with his comrades. Alone in the jungle, he could hear enemy soldiers coming in his direction. Scrambling for cover, he found his way up a high ridge to several small caves in the rock. Quickly he crawled inside one of the caves. Although safe for the moment, he realised that once the enemy soldiers looking for him swept up the ridge, they would quickly search all the caves and would be killed. As he waited, he prayed, “Lord, please spare my life. Whatever will happen, I love you and trust you. Amen.” After praying, he lay quietly listening to the enemy begin to draw close. He thought, “Well, I guess the Lord isn’t going to help me out of this one.” Then he saw a spider begin to build a web over the front of his cave. “Hah” he thought, "What I need is a brick wall and what the Lord has sent me is a spider web. God does have a sense of humour. " As the enemy drew closer he watched from the darkness of his hide out and could see them searching one cave after another. As they came to his, he got ready to make his last stand, but then he heard the leader of the soldiers say, “You may as well ignore looking in this cave….if he had entered here this web would be broken!” So they left and he was delivered! To his amazement, however, after glancing in the direction of his cave, they moved on. Suddenly he realised that with the spider web over the entrance, his cave looked as if no one had entered for quite a while. “Lord, forgive me,” he prayed. “I had forgotten that in you a spider’s web is stronger than a brick wall.”

God’s ways are not our ways, God’s thoughts are not our thoughts.. He will neither leave us nor forsake us..
Let’s trust in God always!!

(Sometimes a prayer doesn’t change the situation.
But it changes our attitudes towards the situation
And gives us hope which changes our entire life.)

Stay Blessed !

This did touch a chord 😀😀😀 !! 👇
This is something very relevant for all parents -

Rational, Realistic, Intelligent Response to Life; By OSHO

You will be gone soon but the children will be here…. And nobody can manage anybody else’s life.

‘… though they are with you,
yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love
but not your thoughts,
for they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
for their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
which you cannot visit even in your dreams.’

God will take care. It is none of our business to be too concerned.

Whatsoever we can do, we do, but one should not hanker about things going the way one wants. That is very egoistic. You have given birth to a child, but once he is out of the womb, he is free of you.

First he depended for his breath on you when he was in the womb. Then he will take his own breath.

You don’t say. ‘What are you doing? Are you trying to be free of me? Trying to be independent?’ You feel happy that your child is breathing.

First he will take milk from you, then one day he will start eating on his own. First he will go on clinging to your apron and then one day he will leave it.

You will be happy because the child is growing, becoming mature.

Then finally one day he falls in love with a woman. He has found his woman, so he will go on his own way. Bless them, and whatsoever happens, they have to find their own life and their own meaning to life.

Now you are free. Just try to find your meaning, your life, your goals, and devote the few days that are left to the search of the ultimate. Don’t be concerned with ordinary things.

I have never seen a single parent who is happy about their children. I have heard a Jewish joke….

A Jewish woman died and the first thing she asked when she got to heaven was if she could see Mary.

So it was arranged. She went to see Mary and she said, ‘I have only one question to ask. You must be the happiest woman in the world. Your son is worshipped by millions.’

Mary said ‘What! I always wanted him to become a doctor!’

Nobody is ever happy. Even the father of Buddha was not happy. He was very very annoyed because his son turned out to be a beggar. He became a sannyasin and the father was hoping he would become an emperor. He crushed all his father’s hopes.

One thing is certain — that the child is not here to fulfill your expectations.

The child is here with his own destiny, and he will unfold his own destiny. You are trying somehow to direct his destiny and that is going to be frustrated.

So if the child becomes a thief or a murderer, of course the parents feel bad, and it looks logical. But even if he becomes a Jesus or a Buddha, then too they feel frustrated because they have their own ideas and the children try to do their own thing.

Accept it and bless them.

They have to find their own ways. Who are we to interfere? And how can we?

Pray for them but leave them on their own. You try to grow yourself.

~ OSHO ~

Granny’s Tips

@Tejaa
@DealsStreet

1. Accept things with love and understanding
No matter where you are, or what you’re doing, always believe that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Never expect, assume, or demand. Do the best you can to control your circumstances, and learn to accept that you can’t always control everything. Once you’ve done all that is in your power, if it’s meant to happen – it will.

2. Life CAN be simple
Even though you often feel like life is too complicated, it can always be simple. All you need to do is focus on one thing at a time. You don’t have to do it all, and you don’t have to do it right now. Be present, be active, do the best that you can. Whatever you put into life – life will hand back to you, with interest.

3. Don’t change for other people
Make people accept you the way you are, or not accept you at all. Always say what you really think, even if it’s not the popular opinion. When you’re true to yourself, you add beauty to the world – beauty that was missing. You should stay in line, just make sure it’s YOUR line.

4. You’re not who you were – and that’s okay
You’ve been through a lot in life. You’ve studied, been hurt, and changed. Every day we learn something new which changes us in some way or another. Sometimes we realize we’re not who we used to be, but that’s perfectly normal. Everybody changes. In your life, people will point out the changes, and all you need to do is tell them “Of course I’ve changed, and so have you. Everybody changes.”
Granny’s Tips

5. Everything that happens is for the best
Be it significant or otherwise, joyous or sad, anything that happens will end up being in your favor. Everything that happens to us builds us and helps us grow. Life will take you places, show you things, heal you and make you into a better person. Don’t be afraid to try or even to fail, in the end, everything is just a small part of life’s larger plan to turn you into whom you’re supposed to be.

6. Choose happiness, not wealth
Many people live their lives believing that money will make them happy, but the pursuit of wealth is devoid of meaning. Every choice you make, be sure to consider your happiness, not your bank account. In this way, when you’ve reached old age, you’ll know the true value of things, not their monetary value. In the end, you’ll understand that the best things in life are things that money can’t buy – love and friendship.

7. Decide to be positive
One of the most important things you should understand about life is that if you’re not happy, it is not the circumstances that are to blame, but your decision to be unhappy. Every time life places obstacles in your path, give life a big grin, accept the obstacle’s existence and overcome it with joy. Make the decision to be happy, stand by your decisions and do whatever is in your power to keep them. This is the true secret to happiness.

8. Give the people you love your full attention
We can get used to being surrounded by loved ones and start taking them for granted. When you ask someone close to you how they are, don’t accept an “okay”, look into their eyes and ask them about their day, and how they feel. If you feel that you only have friends that remember you when they need something, don’t worry, be happy that you’re a source of light and hope for them.
Granny’s Tips

9. Learn to set a loved one free
At times, we need to set a loved one free to allow them to grow and evolve. Every little sprout must leave the greenhouse and be planted in a larger pot to grow to its full size and bloom. It is not what you do for your loved ones that will help them grow, but rather what you taught them and how they use that knowledge.

10. Sometimes, you need to leave people behind
Sadly, not all our friends help us become better people. In some cases, friends can keep us stunted, not out of malice, but because they want to keep you down at their level. Learn to tell when this happens and stick only to friends that help you grow, lift you up, and inspire you to be who you really are.

11. Some things you only understand when you’re older
In the end, people will judge you according to your actions, that’s why instead of trying to impress and please everyone, follow your heart and do what you want to do, without fear. Remember that it’s better to remember something and say “I can’t believe I did it!” rather than “I wish I did it…”

12. Stop looking for a happy ending
We humans tend to search for some happy ending in whatever happens to us. We want a sense of closure and completion, but sometimes it’s simply not how life is. If you feel like you’ve been searching for that happy ending for too long, you may need to, instead, search for a new beginning. Never be afraid to leave everything and start anew, you still have time, no matter what your age may be. Aspire to make the most out of whatever time you have on this planet.
