Any idea? Do we need to use only the details used while ordering? Where alll the 1st person details are fixed?

Tickets Compliments
I think even after ordering with the details of first person, the 2nd person/gifted person can use his own details like mob n email id to register n use without using 1st person details at all.
Also, after activation can the 2nd person use his own details for Registering at Master Card Secure Code?

RBL Gift Card
As i see for activation only the 1st person can activate using hi mob or email id. Anyhow the 2nd person activate by his own?
also, after activation can the 2nd person use his mob n email id to register at YouFirst RBL Site n at Master Card Secure Code?

1st person is the person who orders
2nd person is the person who is gifted

hope u guys got my point. its a situation when the card is gifted & the person who orders need not required to do anything after the gift card is gifted without activation.

@rajrocks
I have used only TC.

Person who has ordered the gv can’t do anything with the prepaid card. The person who has received needs to register his details (mob no and email). And these details will be used for subsequent transactions including forgot password.

So, YES to tc query in both cases.

DOn’t know about RBL coz didn’t find any prob with tc. https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif

For rbl giftcard u just need to send sms or email to activate.The card will get activated within 2-3 hrs.I think u can even send email through other email id also.After activation any one can use it.it just require ATM pin and expiry date to create a password.This password will be used for further transaction nothing else.Registered mobile is not required in entire process.

@rajrocks

I guess they would activate the TC gift cards only if the phone no matches with that on order (because if the seller is gift cards India they would anyway send OTP on the registered no only). Not sure if it is the same if we buy it from woohoo and register it on eden red as there is no OTP verification. But once I had spoken to their customer care who told they would take at least 2-3 days to activate the card for usage and check if the details match.

I have used RBL gift card once and you are right about first person activation only. Not sure if it can be done with the second person’s details.

@rajrocks RBL is more comfortable in activating with the mobile number given in the order. So if you order with the details of the person whom you want to gift the card will really help. Use their number.

I believe this is just as a security measure by them so that their are less chances of fraud.

Other way is you can order on your number and register the online secure password which you can pass to the person. Also if this person is using it for offline transactions there shouldn’t be any problem as the pin is delivered with the card.

Hope it helps.

Let me rephrase cards only gets activated for mobile number given while placing the order on Amazon. So that mobile will receive all messages like money load, transactional, activation msg etc.

You can use any of the email address but you don’t need to register on youfirst site for using this card.

Once the card is activated by either sending the mail or sms to rbl its ready for use. There is no particular need to register your card on youfirst website like TC.

Also you can anytime check the balance of the card on the website without even registering.

Let me know if you have any doubts.

@rajrocks I believe you can use any email address for the activation. I use a different one always for activation. But if you are using it for online transaction OTP will be required for creating a online secure code, but this is only for once.

I think its not possible in Ticket cards as the mobile no has to be the same. Not sure about RBL though as never bought.
