Earlier there were rumors that lyf users will get 1 year unlimited offer but that turned out to be hoax. They didn’t even spare those who had not completed their 90 days preview offer. Its hard to believe reliance.

They have been forced to officially launch as they were not getting interconnect points from Airtel/Idea and deadlines but their backend is still not fully ready. It will take some time for them to standardize everything.
4Gb limit is not enough. With great difficulty got another jio sim today. Took 3 hours of queue time. They did biometric verification. Got the first sms instantly for application for new connection. Post that no update till now been over 5 hours. God know what they are upto usually it should not take over 4 hours to activate the sim.
I bought the Jiofi Hotspot on 8th Sept 2016.
It was activated immediately with Aadhaar Varifications.
It is still showing 3 Plans

I also got a jio sim yesterday, did biometric aadhar verification. The first message came in regarding application request revieved, Post that sim is still not activated, been 24 hours.

JioFi devices don’t have voice plans coz they are hotspot devices.

People have sim activation pending for more than a week. Jio service says it will take 2 weeks at the current pending state.
Depends on the medium of taking the connection. I only submitted a photocopy of Aadhar, everything was online. For folks who have not done biometric verficiation it would take time, for others its an automated process so should be faster. Let’s see how much time they take.
My Jio connection got activated after 15 days. Data is working fine but calls are not. Getting a message that your number is not tele verified even after a confirmation from Customer care that it is verified. not sure what’s going on.
I have installed SIM on Moto g turbo. i was under an impression that Moto G Turbo doesn’t have VOLTE but i was surprised to see that it does have VOLTE.

I called 1977 number. I didn’t get any IVR message to enter AADHAR or any ID proof details. Instead call got transferred to a customer care guy who confirmed my address, alternate phone number etc and said that your phone number is verified now.

Jiofi Hotspots can be connected to Android Phones. And then JioJoin / Jio4G Voice can be used in the Android phone to make calls.
I don’t understand why the plan is still preview valid till 7th Dec 2016 and data limit shown as 2GB, and not migrated to the welcome plan.
Another issue is that you cannot verify your email address in MyJio. If you try to add and verify a gmail address, the OTP which is supposed to come immediately comes after a few hrs, and by then it is expired.
It seems google is throttling the mails from jio, so they are reaching after a delay of 5-6 hrs.
Got my 2nd Sim activated last week. Got the sim on Saturday (2nd), received message about sim activation on Monday; when I tried in my Huawei P8max, did not work- so activated the sim in Moto G3 and the sim was activated immediately. However, calls did not work in my P8max for 2 days (it was offline-trying to connect continuously) but working fine since Saturday (Is it fine if one in 10 calls gets connected? )

Guys I want to avail the 3 months free 4g data for my xiaomi note 3 phone.
What all documents for address proof are required and do I need to get a photocopy of them before hand or they will do their own photocopy?
Also is the queue still there?
