Hi
I am on train right now. Yesterday evening I got 4 sms saying some online trasactions acmoiunting to 24000 has happened on my Manhattan Platinum credit card. All were online transactions. I had secured my credit card and was Visa protected but not sure how it happened.
Transaction details

1. 1 AUD
2. 2 USD
3. 21500 INR
4 125 USD

All these transactions happened in span of 10 mins between 17:20 and 17:25

I immeditaely called up CC and blocked my card . As per CC I need to raise the dispute after 48 hrs and then they will start the dispute settlement. As per them i need not worry as they say the money is secure.
Dimers please help me in resolving the issue. Please give me full details as I m on train with limited connectivity.
I had a card protection plan but they say they dont cover the online trasaction and only the physical transaction

As per CC the card has been used for shoes buying from Puma and one paypal transaction(not sure)

Please help me in future course of action.

Regards
Apoorv

https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_eek.gif It totals more than just 24k. As it z a credit card, raise a dispute and ask for Chargeback. I dont think you have to have any addition protection to be able to ask for Chargeback until you dont get the Services/Products from the merchant. So, try to act quick and find out where these products were bought coz am not sure wats gonna happen if those products r delivered in 48hrs. If possible, call your bank n ask the same again. Good Luck!

Thanks Chinzz. I asked the bank and as per them the merchant has still not asked for the payment from the bank. In the meantime I have asked SC Bank to flag these transactions and do not pay the merchant as I have not done the transaction. They said that the matter has been raised with the concerned team and they are following up closely. Since I have limited connectivity they have promised me to call me back for any developments.

As of now I am just keeping my fingers crossed. If anyone has other suggestion please help me out.
