[MMT] Makemytrip egv Convenience fee

Hi,
I want to book an international one way flight ticket on MMT, but the convenience fee is shown to be 599.
I read somewhere on desidime that when complete payment is made through egv, convenience fee is not charged. Is it true?
I tweeted MMTcare on twitter and they say that convenience fee is charged on all transactions even when payment is made through e gift vouchers.
Please help someone.

In cleartrip, there is no convenience fee for egv payment.
Ideally, egv payment should be devoid of convenience fee as there is no third-party involved. But it’s upto MMT anyway.
