Monitoring a keyword on DD

Is there anyway that a Keyword can be monitored on DD, I have an iOS device and have the notifications turned on, but I don’t get any proper notifications on that too.
Say for example I want to get alerted when there’s a good offer on “chromecast”, I will love to get alerted whenever there’s an offer on it.

Not allowed.

We don’t have store/category specific channels. And even if there were, you can only subscribe to 5 channels right now. So that doesn’t solve the requirement raised by OP.
Just like the user tagging feature, I think the admin team can implement a hash-tag notification feature.

I think there are some deal channels related to recharge, tickets etc (specific category) Not sure if they are active.. but their description says so.
Product based alerts will be tiresome to deal IMHO.I agree deal channels need to be increased.
If phone deals are subscribed you get all phone deals. But if you start subscribing using product/company you never know about others.People following only xioami/lenovo/samsung etc never know about Nokia/micromax etc.

That’s one of the reasons why channels is not the right way to address this requirement (feature request). Let’s also not forget that channel alerts depend on the mood/availability of the channel operators, while hash-tags can be added directly by the deal poster.
Sending notifications for “subscribed hash-tags”, which could be editable with just one-click in the settings, seems like a plausible solution.
Based on popular demand, The feature is now live…

wow!, well done and thanks a lot.
This feature has to be imlemented a year ago, I know many websites which are already monitoring desidime post and sending alert based on certain popular keywords
@sajalb531 Good feature request! Some people already add metadata “tags” in their threads but the tags are basically not being used properly right now. This feature will be very useful.
