just had a chat with CS and they said its a complete zero bal account with international visa debit card…
after applying from app the executive will call for documents and stuffs…
visa card will work on all international shopping sites like ali…dx etc etc ( confirmed from cs)

i needed this from long time for google playstore payment and paypal

Just remember support is zero & do not try to send money to friend via app. The coupon of money sent will never be usable.
Worst app & support but good idea by ICICI.
Mobidick don’t accept it as payment. May be freecharge will also not accept in future. Just saying…….

Just register itself on icicic official website

And use as a debit card

Yup its awesome deal imo…. The main reason that the icici debit card works globally and zero balance is a plus point

It is working great for me..
But I had wait for 2 months to get an account due to some confusion between branches.
But to me it’s worth waiting.

Only problem the app having is statements can’t be visible in app due to bug.May be OS version specific issue.They couldn’t fix it..

The executive who came at my place said that this account is not branch specific…

@myliferockkss Actually I had applied to a distant branch due to non-availability of nearby branch(Done on the 1st week itself).
So they find difficulties to re-route the application.It took time.Their twitter handle icici care helped to sort it out.

I think every ICICI account is not branch specific .U can manage it from everywhere..
But charges after limits is too high..

I agree to those depositing charges bcoz this thing is for full online use…. We can just transfer money using neft or imps for like 2.5-5rs per transactions from other bank account

After SBI introduced CashDesposit machine .I never went to branch..

One good thing about pocket sb acc is ..
U can load cash into pocket wallet using any banks card/net banking without anycharges.
And U CAN TRANSFER THAT CASH TO POCKET SAVINGS ACCOUNT/LINKED ICICI acc without any CHARGES
No need of imps/neft actually

@Dr Anshuman ICICI claims so..International payment activation can be done on ICICI cards by sending sms or call CC. But most of blogger’s confirmed that it will take some time to get it activated.
It’s been 4 days in my case.

Hope it will work.

Mmm..Ya NEFT option is there but lot of user’s are complained about unsuccessful transactions (check playstore reviews)
And I believe normal NEFT fee’s are applicable 2.5 rs..
So I am not gonna try that..

U have to apply for the 0 bal savings account… In that u will get a DC which can be activated for international payments…. And about the pocket virtual card…. I dont think it would support international payments…. U can try linking with google play store… If its successful then
