Then don’t bother using mass gainers. Again Optimum nutrition is what I use for whey protein. It won’t be a one time thing and you have to use it regularly with workouts for better results.

don’t use mass gainers at all ; they are just loads of bullshit and nothing but sugars
use whey proteins only if you are unable to meet your daily protein requirements from your diet

in case you are skinny guy and thinking of packing some good muscles whole food would be your best bet;
eat a lot of beans , legumes , eggs etc. and this way you won’t have to keep a track of your daily calorie intake as well as it would go way above your daily requirements

for a skinny guy trying to pack on muscles daily calorie intake is as important as the protein and many guys fail to do so

whatever you decide to go with remember it won’t be a one time thing and would be more or less a part of your lifestyle ; choose things that are sustainable for you in the long run

Whey is protein extracted from byproduct left after making cheese.
Whey concentates are high in lactose and should be avoided ,as they can upset stomach
Whey isolates should be prefred

Wheight gainer mainly carbohydates ( + v small amout of protein)
Carbohydates increase fat in body

To gsin muscles take take protein and have exercise
To gain weight(fat) have carbohydrate

I m nither in favorof whey nor mass gainers

U can take replace egg white with whey
U can eat more carbohydrate to gain fat

If u r buying whey take care that it not whey concentrate (that mean) it should not have lactose more than 1g per 27grm of protein

U will need to eat 6 tymes a day..in small quantity
