need to buy a good range wifi router

I have a setup of 1 tplink wr740n with 2 repeaters since 1000sq is not covered fully by it.

have been thinking of buying wr841n but feel its range might be a problem too since both routers have similar antenna.

no media streaming, no adsl, just want range because every once in a whule the 2 repeaters get disconnected from the main router automatically.

Alternatively u can also use 2 wr841n…. one as a repeater and one for main

If budget is not an issue then do check out Eero

It is an expensive purchase for sure but for a large space and a combination of primary router and extenders this is one of the best solution out there. Check reviews on major tech sites once.

guys if your u are facing problrm with repeater disconnecting often found a solution. might help some of you so take a look.
already have been using a tplink wr740n but has been giving poor coverage so added 2 repeaters which resolved the problem but later created a new one of disconnect of repeater from main router.
had to either spend 2k to buy a 3 antenna router or find a midway so started studying.
turned out all routers with the repeater mode (AP) are not designed for it and there was no way to boost signal from stock rom.
so as a last resort upgraded to DD-WRT which tplink is capable of and issue got resolved for free. (tenda cannot be flashed)
mean time have ordered a tplink wr841n which will arrive tomorrow and its with latest v10 hardware so should wotk fine but will upgrade that to DD-WRT on arrival since want experiment on the repeater compatibility stuff.

DD-WRT has a router compatibility list check if your one is listed along with the exact hardware version found YouTube videos after which flashing was a breeze.
