Paid Rs 2560 bill in wrong airtel postpaid numner. Anything can be done now?

I mistakenly made bill payment of 2560 in another airtel number instead of mine.
It was one digit tying error. Paid from ola money via Fastticket.
Fastticket support saying nothing can be done for postpaid.
Airtel phone CC is clueless. Mailed them, no response yet.
Called person whose number I paid, he is supportive and ready to help.
I’m unable to find info in this regard on Google.
If anyone having knowledge can guide or help, will be really grateful.

Ask him to pay your bill of amount 2560… simple…! If his bill was less than 2560, then it will be -ved in his next bill, I don’t see a problem here…
I paid by mistake once with freecharge and FC customer care reverted the payment…but it was long ago…
If nothing works, then ask that helpful person to pay ur bill, atleast 80% of that amount…

Yes. I also recharged one company number by mistake and airtel reversed the money to my account when I gave them the transaction details. I recharged through PayTM. So yes, this can be reversed by airtel.

His monthly bill is around 100, it is his secondary number. It will take 2 years for this bill amount!
If nothing else work out, will request him as last option.

Op ,i think you better contact airtel cc asap along with order id,txn id etc.. and explain the whole thing .they will help in this issue i guess..

Did you get complaint number on call or email ? If not call Airtel CC and tell them that you want to talk to Nodal Officer. They will give you a reference number. Call Nodal Office. IVR option will ask for complaint number or reference number. Tell them the whole situation. I think they will surely help. I hv got Rs.510 and Rs.250 deducted for correct things reverted from them.

Same thing happened to me also, i did airtel postpaid payment from paytm (when they had offers);
i called airtel for this, they did the needful it took 3-4 days for reversal to my paytm account.

fc paytm mobi stopped reversal long time ago… even retailers dont get reversal now (only some special amts can be reversed)

Its meaingless to ask any one other than airtel to reverse the payment..cc will not help you, they dnt hv much authority
..call appleat authority..and tell them that other person is ready to get payment reversed..they can contact him and get payment reversed..
If other person cn goto airtel office with his proof of identity and ask then to reverse payment it might also help.

I got reply just now from Airtel on mail that they have forwarded balance transfer request.
It’s upto concerned department whether to transfer or not. Time limit for resolution is 05-05.
