Whole South East Asia covered by their tips.TIP: You must have a monthās time to cover all you mentioned.
For a 10 days or so trip choose in the following order from best to worst :-
1. Thailand ā Natural beauty, Treat for tourists, Shopping hub, Friendly people, INEXPENSIVE, Beaches are just WOW.
2. Bali ā Similar to Thailand but some unmentionable issues there.
3. Singapore ā Just a city country, Artificial beauty with adventure parks, malls etc. COSTLY
4. Vietnam ā Only once you have covered all the above.
Truly Asia missing !

Yup rains will make it somewhat difficult in terms of mobility is concerned! But then it will be better than the intolerable summer months when it is no less hot than North India.
Not to forget, Thailand doesnāt have concerns like mosquito breeding due to much better waste disposal and hygiene of public areas!
If possible, plan during Christmas time, it will be lively! Last time I was at Asiatique Riverside on New Yearās eve and it was enjoyable.
EDIT : I would suggest you to travel to Australia in June-August period.
Benefit ā Winter in Southern Hemisphere, Enjoyable winter (not too cold), Developed country feel, Huge exploration options like Tree top walks, cave tours etc (Search Albany tree tops) , Even better beaches than Thailand, Malaysia, Bali etc (Search Esperance my favourite), EXPENSIVE but cheaper than Europe and public amenities are just wow! Google Gold Coast too.

intrigued enough to know these (if totally not want to, then can not force you. if youād rather take it up in private, Iām all ears)
karma for being an early responder to OP and for giving relevant/helpful pointers.
i hope you did not meant the (in general) radicalisation of Indonesia in this millennium
or that Bali is sometimes seen as a recreational (sex, drugs) tourism hotspot.
Personally, (although all my experience of Id is till 2000 only) Iād actually advice people to rather chuck Bali if it is only ābout the commercialised beaches or main hubs.
them hollywood and other tourists have made it uselessly high costs and seeing temples outside India too, isnāt something that great for me at-least.
after Timor separation and the post 9/11 era also has dented many places like Indonesia (and Bali in specific) as being soft targets for terror acts.
really depends from person to person.
loving natural beauty or freaking out in rain forest country, ahh !! is manna from heaven for me.
there are limitless expanses in Malaysia or Indonesia or the archipelago to go snorkelling or be on ground and still mehsoos heaven.
unfortunately now the times of one night stands, 90 minute movies, 30 minute food deliveries and 8-15 day holiday ātoursā do not let one āabsorbā anything !
i was younger; loved the volcanoes [recommended ones; in Java, Yogyakarta]. Mount Rinjani, Mount Bromo.
http://www.google.com/search?q=indonesia+taman.... all mesmerising and perfect detox !
http://www.google.com/search?q=jepara+wood+carv... would really REALLY leave one awestruck. its amazing what all human beings can do. !! and a single block of wood, mind you.
Jepara (the town) gets visitors, buyers from all over the world. biggest ones i saw were like few feet by feet feet (over 5-6 feet)
we only have a few modest things like http://www.google.com/search?q=jepara+Ramayana+... and few other things including the Meja Hansa imgur.com/853XTl8 ā imgur.com/6d4dw0I
all from coconut tree/branches http://www.google.com/search?q=janur+kuning+gan... usually at marriage decorations
Taman Safari (I, the one between Jakarta-Bandung) might be fun for kids and family http://hansauto.net/taman-safari-indo...a/ animals are in open. their habitat, you are in closed.

and by the way, even that radicalisation or terror faff is exactly that: faff (or dimerās fav. word: bull-excreta)
corrupt as hell it may have been, but the people always had their heart in place.
imaandar corrupt, iād say.
and if an ex-dictatorial regime in the worlds largest Muslim democracy (back then) can flaunt
Arjuna Ratha http://www.google.com/search?q=Arjuna+Ratha+Jak...
or a 38 meters 14 storeyed structure with a 36+ feet tall Hanuman http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2014/09/10/a...
Sukarno personally wanted it erected as a symbol of pride of Indonesia alongside the power of youth (pizza man statue for most) http://www.google.com/search?q=Patung+...da
now imagine this , the Indonesian Air Force identifies itself http://www.google.com/search?q=Statue+of+Dirgan... with Dirgantara /Hanuman.
Indonesian Air Force <- conqueror of the skies -> Hanumaan . . ||for them it was/is a simple connection.||
back then they didnāt have many government/national channels but the ones that were had all got daily bollywood movies with or without dubbing.
expats in general got curious looks for they look different, especially Caucasians (especially-II women) and Indians too.
but there was a general ease and loving acceptance.
Mind you: i speak not from an empty tongue. i lived through and saw this up close ā https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_1998_riots_of.... but if you read it just end of first para itself, youād realise that the majority people who suffered fatalities were the rioters themselves (youth without jobs incited by politicians) .
The Chinese (considered the business bigwigs; like Marwadi, Gujarati, Jains here) were not discriminated for being Chinese.. but for being big-shot business community.
I hardly came across any discrimination in Java at-least.
unki khud ki khit-pit, internal sectarian violence hota raha hoga, par uss ka hum expats per koi asar nahi hua kabhi.
also, in Java, Bandung, Surabaya, even down South.. i never came across any talk of or eve-teasing stories or harassment to any expatriate women ever.
even to their own women they do not use force actually. not as obvious as with the Kreung http://www.google.com/search?q=Ratanakiri+Kreun... tribe, but even in Indonesia kids after 4-5 months of marriage was not unheard of or considered some big taboo.
pretty chilled out people. Favourite hobby or timepass is smoking; playing Chess or something flickr.com/photos/adamcohn/26340605814 sutta peevanu, Chess ramvanu.. majja ni life.
