1) Starter motor had to be pressed for whole 15seconds to bring to 800rpm. unlike the japanese bike this starter motor will not burn. rather if racing bike in cold start will damage it big time.
2) thunderbird 500 has not just 1 but 2 accelerator cables. if one breaks you can stil drive on 2nd to reach garage.
3) RE bikes are on spokes and not mags because the bikes primary suspension are the spokes. impact beyond then are handled by the shock absorbers. mags reduce life of shockers so not good for touring setup. Important because conti-GT shockers cost some 6.5k
