I got to know interesting points about the Standard Chartered Manhattan card. Everyone thinks it is best card but it is also has draw backs.
1. If your purchase is less than 1000 in supermakets and departmental stores won’t earn neither reward points nor cash back
2. Once we reached 500 cashback for the month, none of the transactions in supermakets and departmental stores won’t earn reward points or cash back.
3. For each transaction in departmental and super markets limited to Rs. 200. If you spend 10 k also 200 cashback, and for the remaining money they won’t issue rewards points

but i have hdfc cc which has 1 lakh limit but i can make card to card apply!!!

prayasi fwd’ed you an email, let’s talk over chat 
Just call their CC and ask them to either waive fee or just cancel the card. CC will take a Cancellation request. Within 3 days you will get a call from their retention dept. They have rights to waive the fee. So if you say ‘I will keep the card if fee is waived’, then 90% times they may waive your fee. Sometimes they may also don’t waive the fee and in that time if you still want the card just say to retention dept that you will keep the card (then you had pay the fee).
p.s: Just make sure that you didn’t swipe the card from the date fee is logged to the time you talk with the retention dept.

If Not then its better to cancel this card and then apply fresh 
ok they added annual charge 999 + tax on my card.
on contacting them, the customer care officer waived it as a “one time reversal”.

Any information about the reward structure for add-on card linked to Manhattan(primary) card ie if one gets a Platinum Rewards card in conjunction with Manhattan card, what would be the reward criteria for using Platinum card? Would rewards points be added to Platinum card if spend < Rs 1000 are made at some departmental store?
