Don’t despair if you can’t make it to Starbucks before your flight takes off, Vistara customers can now get a cup on board

New Delhi, June 27, 2016: Vistara, India’s fastest-growing full service carrier, today announced signing of an MoU with Starbucks Coffee Company, the premier roaster and retailer of specialty coffee in the world, for offering refreshing coffee exclusively onboard all its flights operating in 17 destinations across India. With this partnership, coffee onboard will never be the same for Vistara’s Business and Premium Economy customers as they will be served with freshly brewed Starbucks coffee effective this year. This collaboration addresses the desire of flyers across India to have a better coffee experience and reflects Vistara’s longstanding commitment to create a distinctive premium experience for its customers by offering high-quality food and beverages onboard.

Expressing his delight at the announcement, Vistara CEO, Phee Teik Yeoh said, “These are exciting times for Vistara. We continue to enhance our value proposition as our customer base increases. In a short span of 17 months, Vistara has rapidly grown its fleet and expanded its network across India. Catering to the growing demand, Vistara now serves 18 destinations including Port Blair with 487 weekly frequencies and connects India better with many via and connecting flights. By end of this year, Vistara’s current fleet will grow to thirteen aircraft, leading to introduction of new destinations and increased frequencies to the existing network offering more choices of departure and arrival to the customers. New strategic partnerships with airline and non-airline brands are in the pipeline which will further strengthen airline’s value proposition for its FFP (Club Vistara) members. Having already achieved the benchmark of flying more than two million customers, Vistara stands tall on its promise of delivering seamless travel experience to flyers with intuitive thoughtfulness.
