My mail to the concerned dept, quoted as below

Sir

I came to know 2 Qu, which are not answered in FAQs

You may update the FAQ section suitably.

i) Whether the any reversal of the transaction by merchant will be credited
in related SB/CA, which was used for generating the virtual card ?

that means the base deposit account to be kept live for receiving reversal credit,
b coz sometimes reversal happens even after few months.

ii) Various merchant ask the physical card presentation, even after using the
same on website like Bookmyshow.com,

Whether virtual card serve any purpose in that case ?
I presume either the merchant should relaxation for physical presentation
or customer should avoid to use virtual card for such transacation.

thanks .

I got some reply, quoted belowbiggrin

Dear Sir,
Thank you for using State Bank Virtual Card.
Please find below our response for your queries,

1) Any reversal by merchant will be credited to the savings accounts, yes ideally the account should be kept live for receiving the credit. However the credit from merchant will be known to the customer in most of the scenarios.
2) Virtual card can be used to book the tickets, as they works as any other physical cards while doing E-com transaction. However customer can carry the printout of the card which he will receive at the time of creation. This is very exceptional case where merchant asks for the physical presence of the card and printout of the screen shot of card serves the purpose. We have seen many customer using virtual cards at merchant sites like book my show.

Please also visit our website www.sbi…in or www.statebankofind…om or www.onlines…om for more details. You may also call Customer Care 1800 102 8724 or email us at sbisupport@cardbran…om.
Yours faithfully,
