tikona broadband review..is it the best cheapest and fastest broadband

I had used it 2 year back. It was good at that time but that was in Mumbai. They had installed that parabolic kind of antenna

tikona is wi-bro (wireless broadband). so a cable service of same speed would give much better experience than tikona.
is there beam or YOU available in chennai?
better inquire about those if you have them in MAA.
i am from hyd and used tikona. would rate beam/YOU better.
and connecting 5 users, yes you gotta go for wi-fi router. (hope they dont require cables, if yes than go for router with no. of ports equal to no. of cables needed)

In bangaloe Tikona is 3rd class 99% of time server down and no use complaining .. Had heard the same of its services in Delhi/Kolkata etc Dnt know abt chennai .. I strongly siuggest to stay away from Tikona as it wld be a sunk cost fr u !!

you is cheap but not that good i used it for some time and every now and then they had some problem even when we complain they say call after 2 hours system maintenance some or other time they had problem after many complains finally it worked for some time without any problem

May be for your city !! i am using it from past 5 years !! Super speeds and Super Support !
i have used BSNL , Tikona , Airtel , Hathway in the past ! Finally settled on You !
None of these others ISP’s have speeds in the range of You ! Even if they have those plans they are simply too costly . whereas YOu is best in terms of Price and and the support they provide.
Used You in B’lore and Vadodara ! Highly satisfied with service . Never have they taken 48hours to resolve any problem ! Their ticketing support system is very good and highly effective . The plans are super awesome. Most of the problems are resolved within 2-4 hours itself !

From my experience :-
You > Hathway > Airtel > BSNL > Tikona !!!

Tikona is the worst ISP i have come across ! Absolutely no service ! See their reviews in some of the broadband forums ! Absolutely shitty service by Tikona !

agree with you that for pricing and speed you is best sometimes b4 there was offer by you they were giving 125 gb for 3200 12 MBPS speed it was nice one of my friend in vadodara enrolled for it but was harrased daily so i was telling i used you i was happy overall mainly bcoz pricing the difference between you and hathway is that hathway uses wireless connection they setup antenna and get connection from it to modem and from modem rj45 cable to house while you uses completely wired connection so sometimes some problem are faced by users may it be individual problem bsnl had least complains but too costly and high speed options not available.
tikona i have not tried but saw one hack on some forum to use tikona for free or at very low price

here in bangalore tikona is offering 50mbps plans….about service i don’t have personal experience but friends says tikona se teen kona dur hi raho toh better hai

I have used tikona in bangalore for 2 yrs as in my area there was no other option..
dont use tikona if u have airtel or any other providers in ur area. Tikona’s service is worst.
Go for wired broadband instead of wireless..

I live here in Baroda and You Broadband has been there in my apartment for about 2.5 years !! Never faced a single problem. Customer care is very friendly . For new installations its a problem since they are already out of capacity here ! everyone here wants You but they are upgrading their Fiber lines !!

How abt ACT or you in chennai guys..seeing many negative reviews for you in chn in bb forums.

Do not even consider Tikona cos they are a cheats.
And the reason they offering such amazing plans so that they can fool as many people possible.

First 1-2 months you will feel wow you are in heaven and even curse those people who gave bad reviews about Tikona. 3rd month onward you will be cursing yourself for not trusting those bad reviews.

They not only sell fake promises but also threaten you once you decide to close the connection.

I have an experience with them so will never suggest it to anyone until unless you are my biggest enemy.

finally took airtel 4mbps 15gb@rs1299+service tax..
with wifi modem free(if i stay on the plan for 4 months)
but i saw ACT broadband and tata docomo broadband plans are good..
bad reviews on you bb in chennai

Better go for reliance broadband.

I am using it for since last 4months without issue at bangalore.

unlimited 2mbps just 699 only, getting stable speed always 2mbps.

Service is good, its reliable than tikona, you and so on.

Previously used tikona at mumbai, wireless network very worst service and speed.

Better stay away from tikona.

Moved to Tikona five weeks ago. Have found their speeds consistent, I get 3.8 mbps all the time. Tikona is proving outstanding customer care, explaining simply and clearly abt plans and other service when I rang with some questions. I have been with 3 other ISPS over the last 5 years and these are defiantly the best.

Go for BSNL!!!!

Don’t know why people have problem with BSNL.
I have used for 5 years. not single instance when I click connect and it doesn’t.

If service is good in your area, go for BSNL.
Best price, dont know about service in your area, but for me , it was Best.

Currently my comp. provided me Vodafone 3g dongle. So I disconnected BSNL.

Bsnl in jaipur is very good. Server occasionally down for hour/month

I think Tikona would be great for you. Because they have such a variety of plans, I’m sure you can find the perfect plan to suit you. Additionally, the technology is quite great and I also feel proud of the fact that I support an Indian company doing great work. Their customer service has come a long way and I, personally have never faced any problems from their side. I hope you give Tikona a chance, they’re offering really interesting packages and have good performance too.

Tikona has hired so many people for posting good reviews. faced this problem when tikona people started flooding a forum where i am a mod with tikona is excellent posts. they might have even commented on this thread. so beware.

My experience hasn’t been good in Mumbai, had to discontinue
