We are planning on a trip to Kerala. One of our friend who is married is in a state of depression because of her unsuccessful married life. She was always funny and loved to travel. This time we have to force her to come for the trip. I have been looking for some good tour packages and saw few in Tripdayz India ( http://tripdayz.com/packages_category/kerala-to... ), but in a confusion of what to choose. Can anyone recommend some good tour packages?

from which city you’re from mate ?
because kerala have lot to see, without car its impoosible and packages always point to crowded places, because there are peaceful less-crowded and nature places are not included in nay packages.

If you’re near means, get your car and Enjoy.

Offtopic:
packages mostly do, less day more place = Tired and we dont even have memory of that places.
Our own vist = More day , less place, so we cover that area completely , less tired.

Just my Advice, dont miss munnar

What i done is got 85 % discount in rooms from Goibibo booked 2 days in each destination, full tank of diesel in car, 2 couples so we have lot to speak during journey, interchange the drive as we’re 4, so its easy too during return.
If we picked Car in Kerala means, they ask big amount and less comfortable.

+1
Hire a cab & make your own itinerary. Just do proper research before planning.. spend more time at the place which really has your thing.
IMO one can never enjoy a place to its fullest in a tour package trip. Such packages are only good for the people who have less time in hand and want to see as much places as possible.

Munnar is a beautiful place. Keep atleast 2 days aside for Munnar if not more.

Kerala is best visited Nov-Feb. Otherwise you would be facing extreme heat or rainfall.
A suggestive itinerary (covered with ease in 111-12 days) would be
Kochin Airport > Athirapilly & Vazachal>Fort Kochi>Munnar>Periyar>Kumarokom/Allepey>Varkala>Trivandrum

Just back from a road trip to Munnar, let me know if you need some info.

Drove from Hyderabad to Munnar by car. Took us 18 hours each way including all the breaks to reach Munnar and further 1 hour to reach our resort which was around 20km from Munnar town.
