[URGENT] Makemytrip GC usage needed

@rajrocks I don’t know about MMT GCs, but I have used Cleartrip eGCs within 24 hours of purchase from Amazon. So there is no 72 hours wait period for Cleartrip eGCs. Unless you have a specific reason to book on MMT, I would advice you to buy the Cleartrip eGCs as they have the same or better offers on Amazon and Snapdeal. Also, Paytm is offering 20% CB upto 500 on Cleartrip for any remaining amount after you have applied three eGCs.

regarding paytm offer… its applicable only on cleartrip app & so gc usage wont be possible to be used…. ru sure or are u saying that paytm offer can be availed on web also?

Hey atleast the gvs are instantaneous once u purchase from Amazon. The validity is one year so if u purchase today it will be valid till 15th Dec. I don’t think the 72 hrs criteria applies. Also it doesn’t work on app

@rajrocks Bro, the app condition is for using the coupon, not for using the Paytm wallet. You can make payments via the wallet on the website. You should have realized this based on the fact that I didn’t mention the Payzapp 15% cashback offer (upto 750), which is a better offer (in terms of the cashback limit) but is valid only on the app.

As for your point about the 200 bucks convenience fee, that will be more than offset by the Paytm cashback (depending on your booking amount, of course). Yesterday, I used Cleartrip eGCs purchased from Amazon at 20-25% discount along with the Paytm cashback offer on Cleartrip’s website.

Anyway, this is all a moot discussion since you want to make the booking on MMT (most likely, to utilize the wallet amount). I have still responded for the benefit of any other users who’d land on this thread looking for discounts on flights.

You can add more than 3 GV to a single transaction. Yesterday I booked 4 flight tickets and saved around 4000 totally. But convenience fees is applicable for GV payment also in case of cleartrip it wasn’t applicable

Yes you can use them instantly once bought from amazon.

In MMT you can use 5 gc and not 3. I still wonder why people are using clear trip to book flight tickets. for example, for a 5.5k flight 750 from wallet and 5 gc can be used, hence total price is 3750 for a 5500 flight, which is a nice deal !!!
