No.. I am not a deep core gamer of any kind… according to use it is going to be
1. Internet(wifi mainly)
2. ebook reading
3. Movies and music
4. Camera
5. light gaming

With power full processor heating problem is every where.. I am using k3 and believe me the full HD screen is more then awesome. Performance is excellent. Go with ur eyes blind… Even galaxy s6 and high end mobiles having octacore processor has heating issue.

There is a sound problem in Lenovo. Please do not buy this product.

Yeah . It even do have some serious problem even now after the update too..
Even camera is not so great… May be some software tweaks might help it.. Which they are lacking right now

poor camera clarity worst battery backup you wil surely face in k3 note some times touch wil hang

one of my friend bought it.. he is facing connectivity issues with wifi and also heating problem while heavy gaming.

Looking at your 4 points of usage above, I recommend you going ahead with ur purchase. I bought this in 2nd flipkart sale in March/April and am using it since. Yes, I heats up a bit on prolonged usage on wifi and games. But I find it acceptable. Camera and sound are excellent. U can go ahead.

I bought one from flipkart, but can’t use any Messenger app (Like Whatsapp, Hike, Wechat)
using TATA DOCOMO Sim, and this is not just my problem, I found this problem with others too, any solution??

I own a K3 note (using it since July)

1)heating Issue
Any phone heats with prolonged use and so does k3 note ,it does heat when playing games for over 40-50 minutes which is normal with any phone (the maximum temperature that k3 note goes is 40)

2)WiFi Issue
Yes there was a Issue in WiFi connectivity i faced it but after the 18 MB OTA update that problem was solved with many other

3)Sound Issue
There is no Sound issue,Yeah the Volume is a little low but is good (Try playing high quality songs and videos on your phone like HD videos and minimum 120kbps songs [3gp videos will produce bad sound LOL ])

4)Camera Quality
yeah this is the only thing that is bat in K 3 note , i cant say bad but its okayish but the front camera is great

5)LAG
yep it Lags but its a software Issue(Lollipop issue) but sometimes not always (just try to kill background apps when not in need.Main Memory eaters are :-FB,Messenger,Whatsapp,Skype,etc)

Music is great on Headphones i have Philips SHQ1200 and a Sennheiser HD220 ||
They Dolby Atmos Feature is awesome
*Battery
Battery life is a bit short it lats me a whole day with phone connected to wifi all the time and mobile data and GPS on all the time when not connected to wifi but it has a feature called super power saver mode heck its awesome tried it phone lasted 3 days on a single charge ()you cant use anything else except calls,sms clock )
*Build
Build Quality is Okayish (i mean what else do you want in a 10k phone it justifies the price)
*Display Its FC uk ing Awesome
Crisp and clear(Try using Bluelight filter at night or Twilight best apps)

how about Asus Zenfone 2 Laser?
i think main difference would be screen resolution.

Yes.. K3 note has 1080p 401ppi..where zenfone 2 laser has 720p 267ppi display.. Also zenfone 2 laser is a quad core device where K3 note is Octa core.

Thanks bro..should i install all OTA updates? Some are reporting their wifi stopped working after the 296mb OTA update and suggesting to take only the 17mb update..

Does anybody know rooting method for k3 note…some easier method like kingroot as i m new to rooting
