Suggestion : Whether to buy LYF Flame 8 or not from this seller on eBay

This seller is selling LYF FLAME 8 @ Rs. 3860 and labelled it as new. My friend looking to buy it and my gut feeling says it is used or refubrished. 
Any suggestions?
My friend shared this link to me. He is ordering one for self but when I checked it, I am in doubt and asked him to be cautious.
I will never buy for myself but friend don’t have much budget and buying it with 15% discount code. If this comes to be used or Jio sim used before he will lose out on JWO also. 
What you guys say?

bro convinced him not to take LYF handset and he is now ready for Redmi 3S 
The only comfort I provided is my HDFC credit card for 9 months NO EMI from Flipkart. So paying 780/month becomes easier for him now.
