skipped it after realising that unlike last time they want the damn phone number for authentication and its only for those who promote the site on social media.

users may kindly note: the last time they ran this, Bigrock has ‘cancelled’ some of the registrations later. one example is this http://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-online… . so those who input hotchpotch data, they now make the number verification compulsory.

P.S. I do know of an acquaintance whose similar domain registration is not cancelled despite giving a dummy number, so I am not too sure on the reasons of the unilateral termination of the contract.
