Nice… but what is FUP?

Very good question. About 5 years ago, they blocked my account with an Unlimited US and Canada subscription for breaking their FUP.
Official FUP: http://www.skype.com/en/legal/fair...ge
Although they have have not mentioned the following in that page, their actual policy on the “unlimited plans” is to allow:
(1) Max 50 unique numbers per day
(2) Max 6 hours per day, i.e., max 360 minutes per day
(3) Max 10,000 minutes per month
They blocked my account because I exceeded condition (1).
India to India calling from internet is banned by DOT and Govt of India thats why Skype has stopped India mobile nos in Nov 2014 (read her: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/tech/tech-ne...)
BTW if I activate this worldwide offer, what will happen after 1 month to my US/Canada free call subscription (http://www.skype.com/en/free-calls-from-...a/)? Will US/Canada subscription remain active after 1 month or that will lapse?
This offer has been active since the time skype was born

It’s an idiomatic expression, bro.
I basically meant to say that you are exaggerating a lot. I don’t even remember when Skype was born or when I started using it, but this offer wasn’t there even 2-3 years ago when I last checked for the available subscriptions.

The first deal forum I joined was almost a decade ago — FatWallet. But I never actively looked for a deal from Skype. Have been using an Unlimited US & Canada plan for many years. But I did let the plan expire for a month in 2012 and back then I couldn’t find this or any other deal on Skype’s website.
