But it’s a straightforward offer (unlike the Standard Chartered offer!) from a straightforward bank so I don’t think there is any risk of retraction/changes if that’s what you are still concerned about.

Actuallu was thinking of promoting but was waiting for a verification….
So, if we spend 50000 we will get 2500 as cashback
but on spending Re.1/ more i.e. on spend of Rs.50001 we will get 5000 cashback upto a max. of 10K (on spending 1L)

Correct. And the only two slabs are already mentioned. But you have raised a decent point for those who might spend exactly 50K (unlikely but possible).

Also, I am not able to use this card on Amazon as Amazon is saying international card is not allowed for transactions. Please suggest what best approach to use it on amazon to buy bank gift cards if direct wallet payment is not allowed in this.

I was not an IDFC customer during their last year’s promotion. But, AFAIK, @A2Zdeals did utilize last Diwali’s offer.
Anyway, to answer your question, there is no transaction criteria. All non-refunded debit card transactions would be eligible and counted for the cashback.
As for how to buy on Amazon with this card, you can load to Digisavings or Udio-KYC via the IDFC debit card and then buy whatever you want from Amazon. And, yes, you would also get “additional benefit” this way.
