Airtel 3G
Was using BSNL 3G all this while. Just though of switching to Airtel, but when I checked Airtel page, it says they charge 255 for 1GB 3G. Seriously? Why is it high compared to other service providers? Airtel customers here always charge for 255 for 1GB 3G? Isn’t it on a higher side?

Yeah it is high. The past few weeks I have been getting messages saying “get 1GB 3g for Rs.165” You need to msg something to activate that.
Edit: You need to dial *121*1#
Now the offer is 1.5GB 3G data for Rs.255 I think

Its Rs200 for 1.5 gb 3G data
Vodafone is the best when it comes to 3G speed and offers.
I have both Airtel and Vodafone, i can blindfoldedly say that Airtel 3G is damn slow!
Airtel -Max 1mbps
Vodafone -Max 4-5 mbps
I always use Vodafones *121# to check offers. Currently, I’m getting 1gb for rs.127 for 28 days(Its number specific). Normally, 1gb is rs.195 
huh i used aircel 3g was the best i had ever seen i was getting 2 mbps download speed,
*121*1# to check your airtel offers -FTT,Net, sms, call boosters
*121*11# dedicated for Internet packs
you can choose 3g followed by pack say 197/255.. Upon confirming with appropriate option,money will get debited from your main account.
Rate differs from circle to circle. In Tamil Nadu, by offer using above methods am getting 1.5gb for 255. it’s your luck to get the same
