No wonder tax authorities came. Let’s take the case of Iphones. If the price at which Amazon (I mean the sellers only) get an iphone is 20000, They get input tax of 14.5% of 20000. Now they show that they sold it for 3000 and pays only 14.5% of 3000 as tax:-D
Amazon is too big an organisation to be in trouble if one warehouse is blocked.
Those who echo the sentiments of the second poster can simply avoid ordering from their site – but let’s face it , in India, Amazon is just the software, the sellers are Indians. So it is just another eBay. If YOU REALLY WANT TO HELP INDIAN ECOMMERCE companies think flipkart.
No one here is interested in helping any websites. Everyone wants to loot 
This helps everyone rethink once again and plan to buy items in flipkart instead of Amazon

i do not order from amazon but not by choice. BTW nothing is indian about flipkart. Do not think that you are helping Indian ecommerce by shopping on FK.

I hope you realise that most of the various rounds of funds raised by Flipkart has been from International investors such as Naspers, Tiger Global, Inconiq, Drangoneer etc. With those rounds I doubt if the founders equity and employee equity will add up to even 15%. So technically speaking 85% will belong to international investors.
So every Rs. 100 you spend on Flipkart almost Rs. 85 goes to international investors itself, so how does it make it a desi company and how can you say it’s better? Hardly any difference!

I guess you are talking about the bhiwandi warehouse, not the bangalore warehouse.

The case to me is viceversa of yours.
Item from Bhiwandi reaches the second day, and from Bangalore takes 3 days.
I hope every one knows that Flipkart has requested the GOVT to raise couple of cases on Amazon India 
Really bad news are coming for/from Amazon India..

Bhiwandi to ahmedabad 2-3 days is unbelievable !!
ATS is the best service for me irrespective of their warehouse ! Bhiwandi > Vadodara :- <= 1 day
Bangalore > Vadodara :- 1-2 day ! And this is all in Standard delivery ! Even their staff along with Flipkart is the most cultured ! Plus COD using Card
ATS has fabulous connectivity for Vadodara ! They even have Self Collection center here @Vadodara !
For Vadodara :-
ATS = Fedex = Gojavas > Ekart = Bluedart > Delhivery = Speedpost > DTDC = Maruti > First flight > Aramex (junkest service ! )

Agree ats and gojava is best and fastest for me. But I also didn’t understand why bhiwandi to ahmedabad takes so much time. Now ahmedabad have around 7 self collection centers too.:-D

i have a bit advantage in this case ankur bhai i think as amazon"s warehouse is just 8km"s away from my home but have not yet got any good pricing errors though:-}
